Not a word. if I don't hear something soon, I am going to be like some of the others here and do a charge back through my credit card. I am not trying to be hard....I just want my air patrol. right now I don't even care....if he would just refund us then I could put the money towards the next group buy of hard tops. |

Nothing here either.... Wish I could do a charge back...but I paid off the card and closed the account.... I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE AIR PATROL....BOB!!! Rather then a refund.... What else is someone to do if someone has their money(and not a small amount by any means)and we are not getting any responses.... I hate to be a whiner here but doesn't anyone else think this could almost be theft if there is no reply or date of shipping after 6-7 months of waiting....?????? |

I'm not defending his actions here...just sorry to see you are having this problem. I purchased a number of items from Bob in the past and he was always great to deal with, had high quality products, and was there to answer any question I had. I believe that was true with many others who dealt with him on this site. Something has to be really wrong for him to have just disappeared this way. Hope he makes good for all of you soon. I hate to see his reputation go sour, but I guess it is all up to him to handle his business responsibly. Good luck and I do hope you all hear from him soon. I never thought of him as a "scam" artist and sure hope he surfaces, to keep his name clean, and take care of all of you. |

I want to get this out there. Since I started this thread. I do not think that Bob is a scammer. I know he has been ill, and I have taken that into consideration. My problem is that he has made no attempt to contact me, or it appears anyone else. That is not a difficult request. A simple email would do. All I would like is a delivery date. So, Bob, please email me, and all of the others that have outstanding orders with Real Rod. Thanks, Corey |

...I consider Bob an old friend and have always had good business dealings with him....100% satisfaction ...on the other hand, I hope Bob gets well in the near future and returns "Real Rod" to the company it once was....best wishes to Bob and everyone that is waiting for product, I hope there is happy resolution soon

once again, I agree with all the post here, just from his friends and past customers, EVERYONE that owns his products brag them and him up. I guess all I am saying is that I just want the product. I don't really want my money back. I just want an air patrol. I have attempted to contact Bob, via here, phone, pm's. All it would take is for him to say on this site or via PM, or phone. "I am taking a medical leave of absense, delivery date will be xxx" or contact us to refund our money. I wish the man the best health in the world, |

Maybe I should no speak on this since I am not a personal friend alto I have bought items and meet him a Daytona one time.I really feel if I were in his shoes and could not fullfill my orders and have accepted money for them I would someway find a way to stay in touch with these people and give answers or money refunded.If money already spent I still would tell them that.I realize it has been posted he is sick,well wife and I both went thru major throat cancer and I a stroke after surgery but each of us could email,phone,write,or have a friend relay messages if needed.Bob I think all these friends are asking for is some reply.If you can not fill the orders just say so. |

I still haven't heard anything. I tried calling this morning, but his voice mail if full. Please, if anyone knows him personally, can you please make him aware that there are a lot of people waiting for their items, or at least some type of contact, IM, PM, Email, Phone call, ETC. |

Someone drive over to his shop and find out what is going on. I too have left him a message, I have no pending orders but I would be interested in buying the molds from him and taking over production. |

Atleast if you found an empty shop everyone could move forward and/or on with what ever actions they feel they need to. He also got a job a car dealership selling cars, so before you drive over try to find out where that was so you can go by there as well. I have met Bob personally and have had many dealings with him in the past, I am baffled about this situation. Only two things I can possibly things of: 1. He is deathly ill and in a hospital. After filling out a dispute form, I received the following note from my credit card company: "This is a billing dispute update on your <deleted bank name> Card account for the transaction on 10/30/2006 in the amount of $1,390.00 at REAL ROD BELLE PLAINE. Thank you for providing us with the necessary information Wow, 65 more days to wait for an answer?!!! Bob, please just send me the items and I will call this dispute thing off. |
