Scotty called today and asked me to post that he made it through his surgery just fine. His prognosis for recovery is great, too. They tell him that he will be in the hospital for about another week and hopefully then he will be on his way home. He also said to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes. Great news!!! Please check my post below for updated info. This message has been edited by CJ on 04-12-2007 at 01:01 PM |

Just an FYI. Talked to Scotty again today. He's doing just fine and is looking forward to going home in about a week. Apparantly, there has been some confusion with regard to people sending flowers and cards....even an owner who tried to visit him. His name on his insurance, etc. for I.D. is J. Scott Williams, which no one really knew. Nothing is being delivered to him if it is addressed as Scotty Williams. Even the owner who tried to visit him was told there was no one there by that name. SO.......if you plan on sending any cards, flowers, calls, etc. please ask for J. SCOTT WILLIAMS!! Barnes Jewish Hospital in St Louis Oh......and he said to tell everyone hello. Terry is fine, just a bit tired. This message has been edited by CJ on 04-12-2007 at 01:03 PM |

Thanks CJ for posting about my progress. Thanks again to everyone. I had a great day today and I convinced the doctor tonight that Terry and I could do all that I need and that if he would let me go home I could get some much needed rest. I had only slept 3.5 hours last night after taking meds and I needed to be at home so I could get REST. It was so late we are actually staying tonight at the hotel next to the hospital instead of the two hour drive home. So don't pay the ransom I have escaped. LOL More tomorrow after I get rested. Great news my pathology report is negative!!!!!!!!!!!!! I see the doctor for the follow-up on the 7th of May. He will then schedule the next leak test and if i do well the reversal surgery can then be scheduled. I'm studying hard so as not to fail the test. Sorry i have not posted sooner but my energy is still comming and going. May God Bless |

Scotty - take care and keep getting stronger. I am sure being home is much better mentally for you than being in a hospital room. Has Terry arranged for your bed to be placed ion the garage so so can look at your Prowler while resting? |
