I just had my wind shield replaced today. I had a large rock kick up on the freeway and crack my old one. The glass guy could not figure out how to remove the dash board. So, I jumped on line, ran a search and found the answer. Thank you to everyone who posts on this site!! You were able to help me out today, and I am sure many others in the past.

Corey

Just out of curiosity....what did a new windshield cost? I've got a pretty nasty scratch in mine.

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Sorry, but I did not get the cost. It was replaced under my insurance. The invoice had nothing on it regarding cost. Covered under comprehensive though. So, it was a zero deductable item.

Believe cost to the installer to be around $430,,,for an OEM windshield.

Why did the top of the dash have to be removed,,,,haven't heard of that before?

The windshield radio antenna is connected under the dash board. The dash board was removed in order to reconnect the new windshield antenna.
