I just had my wind shield replaced today. I had a large rock kick up on the freeway and crack my old one. The glass guy could not figure out how to remove the dash board. So, I jumped on line, ran a search and found the answer. Thank you to everyone who posts on this site!! You were able to help me out today, and I am sure many others in the past. Just out of curiosity....what did a new windshield cost? I've got a pretty nasty scratch in mine. Thanks in advance, Steve |

Sorry, but I did not get the cost. It was replaced under my insurance. The invoice had nothing on it regarding cost. Covered under comprehensive though. So, it was a zero deductable item. |

Believe cost to the installer to be around $430,,,for an OEM windshield. Why did the top of the dash have to be removed,,,,haven't heard of that before? |

The windshield radio antenna is connected under the dash board. The dash board was removed in order to reconnect the new windshield antenna. |
