A hair dryer will loosen it up. Don't overdo it. Don't use a heat gun, that is too hot. You can use floss once it is loose to get it off. You can use WD 40 to remove any residue or lighter fluid. Then re-wax.
Someone else will chime in if they disagree.

Ed is correct,,,but I would use fishing line [light test] instead of floss.

Do NOT soak the emblem in lighter fluid, while on the car, then light it to heat it up. This is a NO NO.

if you can heat it up from the back side it will work much better. two face tape comes off easy if you just rub it with your thumb in a rolling action.

I must appologize, Ed is right. Hammer - cost $2.98, chisel - cost $1.17, replacement hood - cost $2,877, paint - cost $690. Having a shaved hood, PRICELESS!

Now thats the ingenuity we expect from fellow owners. It also gives you a chance to reduce costs of removal and pass on to the rest of us. PS I'll take any of the hood ornaments you get off in one piece. Thanks. JW

can you also get me a set of tire's.

Use a hammer and flat head screwdriver.

If that doesn't work - do waht I did - use thick dental floss. Worked great. No damage.
