Can someone recommend a very good cleaner for the Mulholland top? I am weary about buying one that may mess up the color somehow. I'd rather buy one that's been tried and proven. Thanks!

Dawn is great for washing ALL the built up wax off the car. With the Mulholland I use the Mopar, Viper top cleaner and it cleans it up like new and no fading. I then treat with the Viper Convert. top water proofing from Mopar.

303 Fabric Guard is what you want to use on your top. They also have 303 Fabric cleaner to use before the guard. Do a search for 303 or look them up online. Just be sure to put a cover of sorts over your paintjob and be sure to allow ample dry time. Overspray goes farther than you think, and soaks deeper than you think. I used 3 layers newspaper and it still soaked to the 3rd layer, but I feel that was adequate. Wouldn't have wanted to use just 2 layers. You do not want to get caught in rain before its dry. Very simple to use.
I just noticed you are in Houston. I'm in NW. I have made a cardboard piece for the rear window when you do the 303, if you are wanting to use it, let me know. 303 is available at boat stores. There's one at 290/610 area. BoatUSA.

Agreed. I find that the method shown below is fast and easy and fully protects your paint:http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum9/HTML/001534.html

For this process, or even just a spritz of HTFG (or similar) use a cheap 9' x 12' plastic drop cloth (the one I used cost under a buck). With the top down, unfold with the 12' dimension side to side and lock the front edge under the windshield wipers. Clamp the front latches:

Flip up the rear of the top. Slit the drop cloth at the rear top support and feed over the deck lid.

Seat the rear pins into the decklid:

I used blue painters tape to mask off the rear window and along the side weatherstripping (I had the windows halfway down so I could get to the front latches).
