Just wanted to say hi to everyone, found this sight to be great on gathering info on my car. Just purchased a 01 in Orange. Can anyone help me on the clear front masks, are they any good and if so where can I get one. Also under front nose protection? Thanks Lou |

Welcome and congratulations. It's been documented by Alley Cat that those who drive ORANGE Prowlers are smarter and better looking than other Prowler owners. There is nothing I know of that you can do to protect the underside of the nose, except be V E R Y careful when you pull into a parking space. Enjoy. |

We try to back up most of the time when parking. On speed bumps try to go at a angle. Bottom line, be careful. Enjoy. |

Yellow is the only color Chrysler painted white. Hmmmmm. Try a 3-M dealer, they do have a nice (rather expensive)clear protector that can be put on the painted panels, for that matter the front suspension. Mopar bra from our store will protect even the nose. I agree with Pumpkin, if it is Orange, back it in, think all other colors are scraped. If you insist in pulling in forward stop when your steering wheel is even with B pillars of other cars and lay odds you will some day or night scrape the nose. Think our poll showed 43% of owners hit a curb within first week of ownership. |

With regard to the "clear mask" question....We just purchased this Prowler which was built as a "show car" for SEMA. It has 3M clear protector in place of the rock guards, on the side mirrors and the entire nose piece. It has about 9,000 miles on it (900 that I've put on it) and from what I can see, it works very well. I do not see any rock chips on any of these areas. ------------------ The Prowler makes you smile. Why? Because it's focused. It has a plot, a reason for being, a passion. It evokes the hot rod. It evokes the American Dream. This car is the human psyche. This message has been edited by CJ on 09-07-2006 at 11:58 AM |
