Tom and I would like to take this opportunity to thank CJ and Bob for an outstanding presentation this year at Woodward. You guys went out of your way to make it extremely enjoyable. The thursday cruise to Port Huron took us to places we've never seen before (we have lived in Michigan all our lives). The Kart-to-Kart was our first time there. Great fun, Tom said he might even do it next year. (We'll see) The cruising, the cars, the food, the people (our friends and those we've met for the first time this year), the acquision of your new car the "California Kid" and the joy it brought to everyone on your behalf, all this and even more made this year's cruise one of this best ever. Hopefully we'll see everyone next year at Woodward.

Thanks again,
Pam and Tom Gulyas

The hardest thing is saying goodbye after you had a few days of plain terrific fun...so i decided to stay an extra day and take a drive with Meancat to Flint go boating etc.
CJ and BOB...it's been a slice as usual....the amount of work you put into this was incredible...thank you!
This was an event that really lets you put a lot of screen names and faces together which is always great.
I met an amazing group from Chicago that really helped make this event super special...so Rick and Jessy and Paul and the rest...man,we have to do this again soon!
It's always great to see all the old friends again and party till really, really, really late!
Can't wait till The Pumpkin Run!

I appreciate everyone including me in their thanks. We're both very happy that people had an enjoyable time. Next year for the tenth anniversary of Prowler hopefully the activities and weather will be even better.

I have to say for the record, the event planning and execution are 100% CJ, period. I help with parking and where I can during the event so I'm visible, but guys like me can be hired for $5 an hour. This is CJ's gift to those that choose to attend. Organized activities, a chance to go out on your own as you become comfortable and zero event fees. CJ pays for everything except the final nights dinner.

The in and out parking is free and proved by DaimlerChrysler for the club members participating in the event at no cost. Those having participated know the value and convenience of that in itself.

Thanks CJ and Bob for everything you did in preparing for this weekend and the weekend itself. Many do not realize the amount of work involved in preparing for an event. Hope you were able to enjoy the weekend as much as we did.

The highlight of my trip was the Thursday evening spent eating dinner and cruising Woodward with Jerry Scholten. Jerry couldn't take I-Scream out on Woodward so he rode in my car instead. He gave me a lot of great history of Woodward and Chrysler, but I truly enjoyed his stories and information about the Prowler itself. That night alone made the trip worth it for me!

I know that the interior door handles came from a Viper but I learned that they were actually from another car (that I already forgot!) before that. The steering wheel is from the Jeep Cherokee, the door locks from a Ram truck and the HVAC unit from a Neon. There are a number of other parts that were "borrowed" from other cars, I'd love to see a list of them all so I asked Jerry to write them all down here. Hopefully he'll get time to do that some time soon!

Thanks for the kind words.....I'm just happy that everyone enjoyed themselves so much! To me, that's what made the event a success.

I'm really tickled that everyone seemed to like the "Woodward Dream Cruise 2006 Prowler Cruisin' Tunes" cd that I compiled. It took me quite some time to find and choose songs that weren't the "traditional" 50s/60's rock and roll. Burning 60 cds took me a while, too!!

One of my favorite songs on the cd is "Long Line of Cars by Cake". It is the perfect Prowler event song and I think of the Prowlers every time I hear it. lol!!!

It was nice to see superDave again in person.Glad you maid it Dave and glad you had a great time.I did tell Dave some lie's about Ed,In fact there were so many Dave started to write them down.(he will probably write a book of lie's)Ed you know I would never tell a lie.Infact Jerry Scholten backed me up on this one.And proved me right.Infact you can probably here Jerry Scholten saying under his breath:JERRY WILSON TELL'S THE TRUTH THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH.

That sounded like Cake but I wasn't sure, thanks for clearing that up. I'm a big Cake fan, but that statement works several ways...
