Driving along Wilson street in Glendale, CA today I spotted a Prowler Limo! I couldn't believe it . . Drove by it at least six times to make sure I wasn't seeing things. I was kicking myself because I didn't have my camera on me . . . but the limo had tacky lettering all over the windows that led me to their website. It's Five Diamond's Limousine out of Burbank, CA. Next time I want to take a limo somewhere, I'm going with these guys! Seating in back for four, full convertible top, lambo doors. I wonder who built it? (and if it's underpowered, how it rides, etc.) This message has been edited by Feral on 08-20-2006 at 06:09 PM |

I came up with my ProLimler rendering some time back with Dean's Twin Tower engine and has been part of my site for some time now. http://www.prowlerexcitement.com/Prolimler/Prolimler.jpg I was wondering when a limo Prowler would come out.. Nice Looking!! ------------------ |

That is very well done. I like it a lot. Any bets on when it makes it's way into a POA garage or museum? |

The car was on one of the news channels last Friday night. It rents for $250.00 per hour. For $250. per hour, I think I'll make mine into a limo. (OC PRWLR) |

Has some strange bends in it, like right after the front doors. I'm also guessing that since the regular convertible top was a snug fit in the trunk, that behemouth wouldn't fit in there at all and the mechanics to run a top 20 feet long would be rediculous. I've seen vette, mini cooper, VW Beetle, and assorted other tiny vehicles made into limos. I guess just for the strange looks factor as they typically don't seat as many as a regular limo does. |

Wonder if it has the wide door opening mod. installed? Saw the Chrysler painted white Prowler at Chrysler Museum in Detroit. It was originally a yellow but it is filthy under the hood. I called it a "mule" and the engineer almost broke his neck spinning around to correct me that it is a "pilot" car with chrome support underhood braces and radiator support. He wouldn't trade for stock black. |
