The weather the night of the Huber Farms was wild but it sure made for some great photos. Good work Larry and Scotty. |

quote: Maybe someone can explain this distinct paint job on Wildcat to me? I thought it's a unique work of art on one Prowler only, then I found this on ebay: Who was first, who copied who?? embe (I wish I had my exact Prowler with mods as a modell...) |

embe, Which was the chicken and which was the egg? Wildcat (Larry) was the chicken ... er I mean first. His car was turned into a Johnny Lightening car. |

Mikeal, Wildcat Larry Mayes told the story here on POA. He was at a car show and talked to someone at Johnny Lightning and they took several pics of his car and made the model. It came out about 5 years ago, probably. I bought about 80 of them in my area for Wildcat and kept a few for myself. |

quote: Since the picture on the Johnny Lightning package is my car sitting in my driveway I would say there is only ONE CAR painted like this with 15,000 Johnny Lightning models of it I gave a diecast I had in my car to Marty to auction off Thursday night. This one I had Dr. Rue (pinstriper for all the Woodward, Black Tie, Gold and Blue Prowlers). I don't know if I have any left other than special ones It has......... owner: Larry Mayes on the lower left of the car in the picture I was at the right place at the right time with a car the was different Only one TRUE "WildCat" They were sold all over the world and I have only found them at swap meets and on E Bay for the last 4 years |
