Hello,

I am a newbie in this forum. I am very much interested in getting a Prowler but the only thing stopping me is I live in Australia and current laws prohibits me from driving a left-hand drive vehicle on the road. I have been yearning for Chrysler Australia to bring our a RHD version of the vehicle here in Australia, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears.

Is there anyone or someone who might know of anyone who does Left-Hand Drive to Right Hand Drive Conversions for the Prowler. It has been 3 years of itch to try getting my hands on one of these babes!

There are two owners registered in Austraila. The right hand conversion has been done before, I know that much. Check the Owners Registry on the toolbar above.

...there have been a couple of Prowlers on here in the past that were converted to RHD.....I believe at least one of them was in Australia...

about 5 years ago I sold a Prowler that went to Australia, but I never did find out what ever happened to it....

I think you were wasting your time arguing for them to have right hand version as production stopped 4 years ago.I had mine converted last Sept by Corvettes Qld but believe that Viperformance in Victoria may also be getting certification for conversions. Go to www.dotars.gov.au website as they list all the people who have authority to convert each type of car. You can PM me and I can assist with any questions as I arrange import myself but you need approval from Canberra through the person who will be doing conversion. DO NOT import the car until approval is given as they will make you export it again or destroy it....there is another silver one from Coffs Harbour currently being complianced at Corvettes Qld (next week) and they are also working on a yellow one...it will cost you for conversion only AUS$37,500.

Wow with todays currency exchange that's $27941.26 in US dollars!

But a prowler is worth it!

Hello everyone, yes I will finally get the silver prowler next week after its conversion to right hand drive. It seems like it has taken forever, when it is all finished I think it will have cost me all up about$110,000 australian that includes purchase of the prowler, shipping and the conversion. We think there are 8 prowlers in Australia but we can not be sure this is correct as no one has ever seen them all in one place at the same time to confirm.
