I just picked up the Kat last night and already by noon it had caused a two car collision!

I got up early this morning and started detailing the car as it didn't look like it had a bath in the last 7 years. Poor thing was filthy and I'm afraid I am going to have to take the tire off to scrub the front end. What a mess.

Never-the-less I had the Kat out in front of the garage drying off and I was relaxing on the deck with a cold one when it sounded like a shotgun went off.

We raced around to the front of the house to find a 16 year old kid from the neighborhood had been so busy looking at the Kat that he had a head on collision with a oncoming car. An hour and one tow truck later the mess at the end of our drive way was finally cleaned up.

Thankfully, every one was uninjured. I knew owning a Kat would be exciting I just didn't realize it included all of this as well!

See what you've done !

Now go and trade in the Kat for a BORING car
like a BMW Z3 to avoid further accidents in your neighborhood

Glad nobody was hurt but NOW you know - next time .........let 'er dry INSIDE of the garage

I'm thinking the young man driving the car had his attention captured by the sight of the Purple cat's front fender,,,,,don't see those everyday

Now seriously, for those of you not familiar with the "grass roots" Iowa lifestyle, people still have a picnic and watch the corn grow. It is inevitable that the site of one Prowler, Purple of course, is going to cause a real problem. The highway signs leading into this state say very plainly, "Prowlers will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law". Why the National Guard would be called out if 20 Cats were cruisin into the state.
As for a name, don't know what team you follow but Cyclone Cat would also fit in Iowa State. Normally many think the first mod should be splash guards but in rural America you might think "Car Cover".
