I got a new set of tires on my 1999 Kat today and I have to say the difference is NIGHT and DAY. I got Goodyear Eagles with the tread matching front and rear. The price of them was very fair and best of all is that the ride is SOOOO much better then with the stock run flats. It is worth taking the risk of getting a flat and having to have the kat towed since the car rides MUCH better. I also have to say that I installed the Wonder Bar on my car about 4 months back and I did not notice much change but with the new tires I could tell a HUGE change within 5 mins. of driving. Just thought I would put that out there. -Randy- |

Last time I checked Goodyear did not offer stock sizes with the same tread pattern. Most people went with Dunlops. On the reply screen there is a button for inserting an image. |

The size on them are 225 45 17 for the fronts and the rears are 295 40 20, just double checked on the car. And they are GOODYEAR EAGLES. |

Thanks Foot, I'll have to check again. I've been wanting to get rid of the run-flat harsh ride.~Robert |

quote: Robert - Yes,,,Goodyear did make the exact same tire in a non-runflat edition. Don't know if its still made,,,,but they were out on the market a few years back. B.F.G. also made a runflat and non-runflat series very similar to the pattern of GY's,,,but less $$. |
