The reserve wasnt met on these last week.
The price is a little high unless the reserve was lowered
ecspecially w/o the center caps.

I think they would look good on certain colors.

I've never seen this before on a "Reserve"
but it says....

"Current bid: US $1,005.00 (Next bid meets reserve)"

Interesting,

Ransom

I've seen that message before, happened when I bought my prowler. Actually the message I saw was "seller has lowered reserve, next price will meet reserve"

That's what it means, the Seller has lowered his Reserve before the Auction ends. In this case, the Seller has lowered his Reserve to within $5.00 of the High Bid and the notification by eBay is to let Bidders know that whoever bids next will be the High and potentially Winning Bidder. A new feature, I kind of like it...
JMO, but I would bet that these wheels started out as the Painted type, rather than Chrome type. He probably has invested between $250.00 and $400.00 for the powder coating process alone. Buddy

Man, those look awesome. I'd love to get my hands on a set of those. Should have checked ebay sooner.

I bought a set of the silver ones with the tires and I'm thinking of getting them powder coated black for my silver prowler. Just can't make my mind up as of yet but I think they might look real good with black rims and polished spinners. Some people say the black rims on silver won't look good and I'm still not sure if I will really like it and hate to turn them black and not like them. I was going to get them done in black chrome which is mostly being done with motorcycles rims but is real expensive. Oh well have to decide soon the nice weather is coming.
