i just ordered 6 prowler and 6 viper hats.. they are the low style ball caps, not the high type "trucker" hats. I bought them for $5 each, shipping paid because i got a dozen. I have another prowler item from this guy and the quality is great. They should be here this week, I'll post a picture of them once they arrive. Jim |

Jim, That sounds like a great deal, nice to have extras in case they are lost or misplaced and at that price it won't bother you as much either. |

When you find out the info about the hats, could you let me know via either personal message or email. I know that we can't get stuff like that in Australia. This message has been edited by the alchemist on 05-16-2011 at 12:26 PM |

Jim, Maybe you better not post the pictures and his contact info on the site because of the possible trouble from DC. Stinks that people have to sneek around to have something as simple as a ballcap, but thats the way it is today. Before anyone jumps on me, I know the reasons why things are licensed/trade marked. |

You can always buy the caps from the CAAP store at the plant where the Prowlers were made. They have them in all the colors, except maybe the Black Tie and Woodward. You can contact Sylvia Collins at 313.369-6702 or Sandy Manning at 313.369.6715. If you need to leave a message, be sure to identify yourself as a POA member and you are interested in making a purchase from the store. |

IMO the CAAP hats are nice to look at but a little tall like the trucker hats. I've worn mine once. Maybe it's the nice embroidery that is making it stiff and I just need to wear it more to break it in.... This message has been edited by dbudner on 02-28-2006 at 05:26 PM |

I have a few nice Trucker style hats but don't wear them... they never seem to look right on me... These low profile baseball caps are more my style....

Built in baseball cap holder in the Prowler.. between the shifter and the dash. You put the bill of the cap into the slot below the stereo and the back of the cap against the shifter it fits very well. It stays in place and is always close at hand. haha.. |

In the Red, that will help my console from getting sunburned but my bald head will fry. lol Actually I need a hat to help with sun glare (for me, not for the glare on you from my chrome dome.) I tend to squint even with sungalsses so I wear a baseball hat almost constantly in the summer. You helpful hint will help the follicly unchallenged. |
