Last week Jesse (Red5) posted about a restaurant in Grand Rapids that he had ordered carry-out from. The food was delivered in a bag that features a red Prowler with their mascot "Buddy the Bull" in it. We had gone to that restaurant here in town just a few weeks prior to Jesse's post (when our son was home). I don't know how it was possible, but I totally missed the picture of the car with the bull that is on the inside of the menu, also. We went back to the restaurant a couple of nights ago. We had dinner and also asked the waitress for a couple of the bags. They aren't little bags, either!! She was very obliging and in the ensuing conversation about why we were asking for the bags, I brought up the subject of Dream Cruise and the fact that a lot of our club members come in for the event. She suggested that we have dinner or lunch there this year. She said they have a "mascot" costume and it would be great fun for the restaurant to have a whole bunch of Prowlers there. Pictures could be taken and it would be great press for them. She gave me the name of the Manager to talk to..which I will. WildBill suggested that I talk them out of a supply of these bags to use as goodie bags for the Dream Cruise event this year. I just wondered if anyone else thought this would be a fun thing to do!! ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |

Sounds good to me. I guess now I can't sell the bags on ebaY for a hefty price (to Ransom1945) since the place is giving them away for free. |
