seems like a lot of money for a Cat with frame damage. Doesn't look like the blower cars are worth much more then a well taken care of stocker at this time. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Plymouth-Prowler-2-DR-CONVT-REPAIRABLE-2000-PLYMOUTH-PROWLER_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6414QQitemZ4581115732QQrdZ1 |

It is a sad day when a beloved Prowler is involved in a wreck. I hope the passengers were not injured in any way! I do make note that the Tom Mills turn signal relocation kit faired very well in the accident. I wonder if the bumpers were left 'on' would have minimized the damage? |

Frame damage,,,,Salvage title. Somebody is dreaming here,,,,,,, divide by 2, and even that is a push. Buyer beware |

I'm missing where it says frame damage? Ahh I see it now, that's nothing, fixable IMO. Someone looking to pick up a cheap cat and modify it, that would be it. This message has been edited by jd2ksilver on 10-08-2005 at 12:31 PM |

The one on AutoTrader is probably a scam. I have seen a lot of scams on AutoTrader lately. Charlie This message has been edited by chasmccart on 10-13-2005 at 01:30 PM |

Not only the frame damage but both airbags deployed (they stuffed them back into the steering wheel and dash as best they could). Once you add up the cost of everything you might as well buy one without a salvage title. The rebuilt title will hurt its value for a very long time. |

The only I see him getting 18,500 is by fixing it himself then trying to sell it. |

It would surprise me if this car would bring this money totally repaired with a bad title.I can tell you from experance having a car with a salvage is JUNK. |

The car is basically a piece of crap. But check out the sellers feedback . a lot of the good feedback is from stuff he bought, Not the stuff he sold. I think even if the car were salvageable, he is not a good person to deal with anyway Toys |

The salvage title kills the retail value. Like JD says, good candidate for modified street rod, v-8 maybe. The damage is not really that extensive compared to others I have seen. Will probably bring about $12-14k. |

Hi I guess I just bid enough and got outbid but there would have been a supercharger swap and the gears but will still look for those items without buying a whole car. To answer the gear question they make very little drag differemce but the engine doesn't drone so much in high gear cheers Canuck John |
