Prowler question. Been looking at 01 Orange ones (yes I have been told, yellow is faster)and found one with a Plymouth hood ornament and a Chrysler left rear bumper, ie does not say Plymouth. Mfg. date 12/00. Do they all come that way? Another Flori-DUH inquiry. "Blue Buyou" said it. Jim |

Build date of 12/00 probably makes it a Plymouth. Maybe the left rear bumper got hit and bent,,,,,replacement left rear bumpers came with the blank. |

DCX made a running change from Plymouth to Chrysler. It is entirely possible that some of the last Plymouth's were built with the plain left rear bumper. It'd be easy to check Mike K's last Plymouth Prowler built to see which bumper is on the car. Check the VIN on the car. That's the way to determine what it is. |

My orange '01 w/ build date of 6-27-01 has the Chrysler hood emblem. Bought a Chrysler "wing" licence plate frame for the rear for the "what is it?" poeple, although I love talking about the car. |

RED 5 : This one had the front bumpers removed and no front turn signals or parking lights. Left rear suspension bolts had been wrenched also. |

You think he got rear ended and replaced it?? It was dark in the Dells when I saw this orange and the VIN had the P so it was a Plymouth. |

My Orange 01 has one Plymouth and one Prowler rear bumpers. He probably got into an accident and had to replace one. ECurtis This message has been edited by ECurtis on 10-11-2005 at 06:12 PM |

My new 02' came with the word Prowler on the passenger side and nothing (blank) on the drivers side. Chrysler badge obviously on the front. |
