I was shocked when I saw the damage to the nose of the Prowler. The writer obviously isn't use to driving sports cars. He needs a big truck. Something that won't get hurt when he runs down the neighbors trash cans.

Many of the flaws can be fixed or improved. That is the great thing about are community!!! My car is a 99 and it is a rough ride on a bumpy road. I will install a wonderbar this winter and that problem will go away. There is no trunk space. But you can buy a trailer, weekender, or a rack (all of which still look very cool. The doors can be modified to open wider (I like mine as they are since my garage is small and if the doors opened farther they could be damaged. The looks of the radio can be made more retro with the addition of Jays chrome shimmer. The shift knob can be replace to look more retro (Realrod has some options). The nose is easily scraped....I've done it....Now I'm more careful....Not much different than any other low exotic car. The outside door handles have never bothered me. Antilock brakes....they would be nice, but more sensors to go bad.

The weak convertible latches can be replaced with beefier ones sold by one of the POA members, Art Stoner. If the wind in you hair is too much, you can buy an air patrol. Interior too small??? not for me, and I am a big guy. The prowler's interior is much more comfortable than any of the other toy cars I've owned. Poor visability...yes...same with most low exotics. The prowler is much easier to drive than my Pantera.

lets see, what else was mentioned in the article...

The author thinks the wheels don't look good. Well, other than the chrome falling off, I think they look great. He doesn't like the airbag switch location. I think its great, hidden in the door jam. I don't want to see it.

I guess what I am getting at is that the Prowler is not a perfect car, but it is exactly what I wanted. Most of the flaws have been addressed by our vendors and now the Prowler is even better. So Thanks to the vendors.

Wally - it was atop the Yokohama tire display. I tried to steal one when I bought some truck tires a few months back,,,but the salesman said he was watching me,,,lol.

I'm not saying that the prowler suspension couldn't be better, but I for one can't wait to go for a drive in it!

How many car owners out there can say they go out in their garage just to stare at their cars?
