Dean Prodromides, Mark Scarbeary, Come on down and show us your stuff. Show the Prowler People what you and I know. Just how much more power your 5.0 puts out over a 3.5. Cromer bring your yellow and black stinger with the great sounding pipes for a pull and see what some mods will add up to against a stock Prowler. Would love to have some one with just the gears to make a pull. Maybe a stock 97 against my stock 99. Sorry such late notice on the event but was hoping to pull it off anyway with some Prowlers in attendance. A Viper Friend of mine Steamroller has had this planed for about 4 weeks and thought it would be a cool to have some Prowlers in the photo shoot and a safe way to test the cars with out getting in trouble with the law. Only you Prowler People can make it happen, I will be there either way to support the Prowler Gang. Thanks John Collins... |

That is a great offer. I wish I lived a little closer to Colorado, so I could bring my stock '97 over. |

John, I'd like to be there but our daughter is coming into town tomorrow and we are heading to Grand Lake for the weekend. Be great to see some comparisons though so hope you get a few cars to show up. Be sure to post results. |

Kraut: Drive in and stay at my house on Friday, Do the dyno pull and stay again Sat.if you can. Then go with us 8 Prowlers on a cruise early Sunday to a high end resto shop in Burthoud then drive back on Sunday. Dean and any others from a distance this offer is for you also. Join the fun, these Prowlers were made to pull that's why they made trailers for them. Bring a pillow and blanket for a Prowler sleep over and shock my neighbors and wife with the cool cars. So far only one taker and that's me, but I'll represent the Prowler Gang gladly. |

That is a really generous offer, but I have a motorcycle rally I'm participating in this weekend. Besides, that's still a bit too far for something like that. Next time there's a major Prowler event out west, I'll be there. |

Not one taker yet on the Photo Shoot or the B.B.Q. No one yet except me for the dyno pull. Maybe I have to hire some stripers to get a responce from anyone in them Colo. era. Isn't anyone besides me intrested in what these cool cars put out to the rear wheels. Be it 50 or 500hp I want to know. I'm taking two cars just to see what they have. The 253 horsepower that is talked about is not at the rear tires. So what do they make? If I install up grades what would the increase be? You need a baseline to go by. And would like to compare mine against another thats all I asking. Someone please respond and show up for the testing that I want to do. Winter is just around the corner and will be putting the car away, thinking about mods for Christmas. Thanks John Collins...... |

Hey Onecattoobadyoudonthaveadog... Sounds like fun..I might stop by around 10AM for a pull or two? Won't wait in line too long? Hey Marc... Don't know the last time you've been to Grand Lake but the beetle kill in the area is a disaster. You won't recognize Grand County...most of the trees are burnt orange dead..it's really sad.. Ciao! |

Hay Cromer: Thank you very much and will see at you at 10:00, cant wait to here the pipes roar in that building, just between the Drive-In fences was cool. I Got in touch with a girl named Heather and she will be driving the Prowler down and you'll have to check her out very top heavy and about 22 years old, big time car nut and will love your car. She jumped at the thought of driving the Prowler, what a site. Any other takers out there, trying to get one more girl to join in but not sure yet. |

Only the Yellow Stinger has responded. Show up and be in my picture post and get a free lunch. You don't have to dyno your car just cruise out and see what dynoing a car is all about. Heck just stop by an say hi! to Heather and I. See what a Twin Turbo Viper pulls or a bone stock Prowler. Show starts at 9:00am and should be over by 1:00 or so. Your not required to stay and can leave anytime. Who said theres no free lunch. Thanks John... |

Well guys I did it. It was a blast and now know what the Prowler and the Viper makes at the rear wheels. Was very impressed by Joe at Mile High Dyno. Place is spotless and he knows what he is doing. Great skills at teaching 1st timers the how to do it. At 9:45 temp. 78 humidity 14% the car made Max Power of 170.20 and Max Torque of 209.95. This was done at a 80 m.p.h. roll in drive then kicked it in to passing gear letting off the gas shifting into neutral at 120 m.p.h. looks like no limiter on this 1999 Prowler. Car was still gaining speed when I got out of the gas. The sound and smell with the dyno against the back corner wall was exhilarating not to mention going 120 m.p.h with the top down and no wind noise only the screaming v/6 with out fear of a ticket and being the first time to ever do this. Had about 20 people around because they wanted to know what a Prowler made and most were very impressed. I know I was. Will post pictures later. Ha Ha got to do something that you guys have never or will never do. With still time left to do more. That is I hope so you never know when your time is up. Thanks Cromer for stopping by. |
