Well, another Woodward Dream Cruise has come and gone. I want to thank all of those who attended another great POA event. Without you.......there would be no event! I want to thank my husband Bob (RPL) for his assistance with setting up the concept visit, some follow up calls for me, running routes and directions and the parking at 13 and Woodward. Thanks to DC and MSX for giving us the rare opportunity of viewing their concept cars up close! Thanks to the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant, Sandy Manning, Kenny Bott and Sandy Bokely for allowing us to shop and giving us a Viper Tour. They were very gracious in accommodating the 70 people who wanted to tour instead of the 40 we thought were going to tour!!! Thanks to Kart2Kart for setting up the kart racing competition and crowning our first Woodward Dream Cruise Go Kart Champion........... Thanks to Big Buck Brewery for a great dinner and great service and to the Aspen Restaurant for another fabulous dinner on our last night. Thanks to Pam and Tom Gulyas for running around and collecting the awesome Dream Cruise maps that you had in your event folder. I hope all of you had a great time and enjoyed the activities. We had some new owners who attended and for a couple of those, it was their first POA event. We were able to do some new things and I think everyone had a great time. I know I did!! We looked pretty awesome cruising together down Woodward Avenue!! Looking forward to Woodward Dream Cruise 2006!! ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! CJ, great job. Thanks to you and Bob and all the others you mentioned. We had a great time and it was nice to see a lot of the folks who have been around for several years but also to meet quite a few new folks. For you all that were disappointed in the new Charger, you may be quite surprised when you see it in person, especially the very hot RED one. It is pretty spectacular. They were at 13 and Woodward and we happened to see about 8 or 10 of them driving down Woodward on Friday, on the way to the D-C display. Big thanks to Mr. Trotta for getting us primo parking right at ground zero. For those that have never been there, you cannot believe what a big deal parking is, especially for a group. Thanks again, CJ and Bob and everyone else involved. Priceless perks from the POA. The people are the difference. |

CJ, For those that did not attend, you missed a fun weekend. CJ & Bob had the plans in packet and name badges for everyone. If they had been read everyone would have know what was going on and how to get where you are going even without knowing the area. I did this for a small trip in Indy and the time it takes to run a route to get street names, mileage and then prepare the info is very time consuming and CJ did this for all the major plans and alternate activities. Very professional looking. Get some rest, you deserve it Thanks CJ |

I'd like to thank CJ and Bob also. This was our first Dream Cruise and we really enjoyed it. Your hard work paid off. Annie and I had the pleasure of cruising with Larry and Sue Mayes in their new '67 dart convertible. Very cool indeed. Thanks so much. It was really great to see the POA folks in attendence; great friends and what a super weekend. Gordon |

CJ & Bob. This was our first POA event and I was totally impressed. Next year we will show up on Wednesday instead of Friday morning so we don't miss anything. Thank you both so much for the planning you did to put this together. What a great bunch of POA folks. You all made us feel like family. See you all next year for sure. Mike and Cathy |

CJ and Bob, It is us who thank you and your husband for hosting this event. The planning and execution was superb! Without your two efforts and self sacrifice, this would not have been a successful event. THANK YOU!!! Now, if there is only some way you two can convince Mother Nature to cooperate a little better. |

Thanks for all of the kind comments. We just wanted to make sure that everyone that attended had a good time. I know that you've heard me say it, but CJ does virtually all of the work. I'm there to help with the things she can't at the event. Not only was she dead tired from getting ready in the compressed time since the Dells, she was very sick. To make matters worse, someone broke into our son's house again late last night. CJ is driving the twelve hours down to Fayetteville to handle matters with the incompetent local police. This is the second break in, in less than twelve months with the same MO yet they won't even dust for prints until she arrives with a POA. I'm having mediation called in for when she arrives. CJ will be out of touch all week so if anyone has any questions or needs her usual help, PM or email me at boblongstreth@comcast.net |

CJ and Bob, Thanks for all of the hard work. My son, Daniel, and I LOVED everything. I hope you will continue to do this. I know the amount of effort is HUGE and the grief is sometimes HUGE as well. Very well done! Thanks, ------------------ |

As with everyone else, Michael and I had a spectacular time..... thanks so much CJ. It was wonderful seeing everyone and being back with some Prowlin friends. I am still in shock. We even got some recognition from our Viper friends: Chose "RT/10 GTS discussions" and scroll down to "Another Woodward Pictorial". Then scroll down and you'll see a bunch of Prowlers...... http://www.viperclub.org/menus/index_forums.htm See you soon - glad everyone made it home safely. CJ and Bob: Thanks for all the hard work and planning. Doug and I had a great time (Doug being a non-"car guy" is now a convert). Sorry to hear about Brian's house (again). I hope they catch the S.O.B. and .....well, this is a family forum. I hope CJ can get back and spend some time at the cabin with the grand kids as she had planned and decompress. Everyone who was there appreciated her hard work in setting up and planning the event ()and I thought last year was super). And don't sell yourself short, you are a big part of the event also. Now, think Maryland Lighthouse Cruise....you are getting sleepy...Maryland..... |

CJ and Bob, Thanks for everything. Kyle and I also had a blast. It was great meeting up with some old prowler friends and making some new ones. I do hope we can continue this and the prowler participation grows. Well done! Thanks for the excellent driving instructions. Kees, I hope you enjoyed the run back to Chicago with Jesse and I, and also Rick until we decided we did not want to match his speed. Thanks, |

Well, just returned Saturday night from an emergency trip to NC and my son's house.......... Just read all the comments about Dream Cruise and I am very pleased that everyone had such a great time......mission accomplished! Pam..........you WILL be driving a Go-Kart next year! Planning and hosting events like these is hard work (as those of you who have done it know). However, it is always worth it when you see everyone having such a good time. I hope that all of you come back next year and that more will attend. Joe would love to see 100 Prowlers next year!! Can you see that traveling down Woodward!! Thanks again to all who participated......I had fun too! |
