I was during the past 2 weekends with my prowler on tour. First stop was at the german street rod nats, in the beautiful oldtown ov Weilburg/Hessen. It was a pre 49 show, but they set up a special custom car area and Prowlers were welcome too. (2 showed up) The following wednesday a friend with a 32 roadster and my self in the Prowler went to the NSRA HotRodSuperNats to England. It was a 1250 mile trip with 2 hours rain, a prowler with no wipers (cool) and a 32 Ford Roadster with even no top. The British Rod Nats were perfect, over 1000 Hot Rods showed up, one Prowler and one SSR. The Prowler was welcome there too. We had a great weekend at a perfect organized show. Yes, stock gears are ok for long distance. My average speed was 80-85mp/h with cruise controle on , in GB we cruised with max 70mp/h. ( Driving on the wrong/ left hand side is complicated) This message has been edited by condor on 08-03-2005 at 07:36 PM |

Boy, you guy's do it right. That place you stayed in looks like it would be OK for a night or two! A lot of nice looking Rods, That yellow coupe looks like a good copy of Milners American Graffiti Coupe. |

Great PICs! I saw the "UN-I 1" Prowler at the parking lot at the Hockenheimring during the EuroCorvetteMeeting in July! Video 28MB - EuroCorvetteMeeting2005 You can see my snake at 4:00... P.S.: I am searching for a 2001/2002 Prowler, however, this isn´t easy over here! |
