it seems that people either install the front upper brace or the upper and lower or the wonder bar. has anybody done all 3 options?
that way you stop the flex of the frame and let the front suspension move easier . it seems to me this would be the best
to eliminate some of the rattles and sqeeks.is there any problem with lower bar and installing prowler pro headers?

When I first got my '99 Prowler, the shaking and bouncing was so bad I put both the Upper and Lower suspension braces on as one of my first Mods. That took a lot of the roughness out of the feel and handling. Then, when the Wonder Bar first came out, I installed that and it removed almost all of the remaining bounce and roughness from the front end ride. I believe that the suspension braces actually "force" the front suspension to work and the Wonder Bar softens out the suspension and allows it to work even better.
If I was doing it all over however, now that the Wonder Bars are available, I would probably only add the Wonder Bar. When I did the Braces, the Wonder Bar was only a figment of Larry Lord's imagination.....Plus it is a REAL JOB to install the Lower Suspension Brace without a lift!! Installing the Lower Bar or the Wonder Bar will not have any effect on Header installation. Both bars mount way forward of the engine. Buddy

Have had the the upper and lower frame braces on mine for three years and have not felt a need to do anything else to the suspension/ride. I can only assume that using all three items in conjuction with each other would work the best, like 1buddyc mentioned: frame braces (stiffens frame) + wonder bar (softens suspension) = stiffer frame with a softer ride. I would think the results of each individual item would be compounded when used together.

I had an upper suspension brace and used it for several hundred miles in conjuction with the Lord Torsion Bar (LTB) . Per recommendation by the manufacturer, I removed the upper brace, expecting an even better ride. My expectation for an even more improved ride was unfounded. I plan to re-install the upper suspension brace for use in conjuction with the LTB (in my opinion, the use of both the brace and the LTB results in the best ride quality). JMO.

Does the wonder bar used just for earlier models or it helps later years also?

It's my understanding the product improves the ride on all model years...it certainly helped out my '99..

This is great information. I have the Wonderbar, but no frame braces. Looks like I'll be adding the upper suspension brace in the future.

I have the upper brace on my 01 amd cant say that it made a big change like it did on my 99 on that car it was major, I later added the Wonder bar along with the upper brace on the 01 took a 4422.1 mile trip shortly there after and the difference was amazing in the ride and handling of the car, would suggest both but if you have to choose only one do the Wonder bar.

Welcome to 2014... Anyone making BOTH upper and lower?

I know MTD has the upper for sale But it has a 2 hole design. I've read there are some that have a 4 hole design allowing for 4 screws to be placed in. I've also seen the thread where you can make your own.

But for those among us that aren't savvy in cutting metal and want a lower brace, where do we go in 2014?
