Ok all of you guys and galls at the Dells. Those of us that couldn't make it need some pictures of what's going on. I saw two of you on Sunday going north on I55 in Illinois just south of Hamel about 10:45 AM. An Orange and a yellow with a trailer. Unfortunately I was headed south and not in my prowler. |

I got to have breakfast with the group that came thru Indy on Sunday morning. I wish we could have made it, work so far this week has S*CKED every night. It was good to see my friends and meet some new ones. I had made a LONG post Sunday night but dumb a** me lost it somehow and I wasn't going to retype it. The one thing I put in the post was about the 5 hours we spent at the hospital with Tammy & Gary (I'm bad with names and not sure how to spell it, but I think they are from Boston with an orange cat). Tammy was the last one to pay at Denny's and we were all waiting in the parking lot for everyone to come out. Some had started across the street to get gas. The tile floor in the entrance had condensation on it due to the high humidity and was very slick........do you see where this is going? Richard Jackson had stayed to warn everyone and thought everyone was out. WELL as Tammy came out she slipped and fell hurting her knee, shoulder & wrist. The Speedway Fire department came and they sent her to the hospital to get checked out. Tammy got a ride to the hospital in the ambulance, I took Gary with me, Mean Gene and Bill Healy (with my wife with him) followed to the hospital. Now this place is brand new. It didn't look like it was busy, but they told gary after about 2 hours, THEY WERE SO BUSY. Bill and I went back and got Gary's truck & trailer and brought it to the hospital, VERY TRUSTING SOLE. After about 5 hours they gave her a scrip for vicaden and put her arm in a sling. About 4:30 Gary, Tammy and Mean Gene were on there way to the dells. Let's hope that is the only injury during the trip and Tammy is feeling good and enjoying the trip. Everyone have a SAFE and FUN week ------------------ |

Bill, Larry and Sue, I want to thank you, for all that you did that day for me. I was surprised to see all of you in the waiting room. Thank you so much. I don't know if Gary told you, but when the doctor told me to move my arm. I was in so much pain, I grabbed her pants. She yelled at me to not to pull her pants down. The rest of the week was dampened. However, all the members were so nice to me and always asking how I was doing. Now that we are home, I have started to see doctors and getting more x-rays and a MRI. I think this is going to be a long process. Do you believe it, neither Denny's or it's insurance company has contacted me. Gary looked into it and we have to contact a lawyer in that area. We don't even know where to begin. Know any good lawyers? Once again, thank you. Tammy |

Tammy, I can't believe Gary tried to pull down the Dr's pants. Unbelievable. lol When I went running out into the parking lot to get Gary, he was sitting in the truck and he lowered the window and said I did not have to run, that you were still in the restaurant. Then I had to break the news to him gently. I hope you are feeling better soon. This message has been edited by ed monahan on 04-03-2007 at 09:01 PM |

Tammy, Glad to have helped in some small way. Sorry the rest of the trip was slanted by the mishap, but it does sound like you made it though anyway. I'll send an email to some folks I know here in town and let you know what I find in the way of finding legal counsel. This message has been edited by whealy on 08-01-2005 at 12:24 AM |
