Yesterday I reported the low tire pressure light was flashing on my dash. I took the time to read all old posts and then I spent some time reading the Prowler Service manual.

Today I went to my local Chrysler dealer who performed a diagnostic test for the electronic components of the low tire warning system. The test confirmed all tire pressure sensor transmitters were fine.

The tech then could not figure out what the problem was. I kept on telling him to check the Low Tire Pressure Warning Module under the dash. Of course he wouldn't listen to me. Instead he said he had to call Chrysler for some help. Three hours later the service manager called me and said the tech told him the problem was a defective Low Tire Pressure Warning Module.

I just want to thank Mike for a great site, and everyone who posts on this site. What a wonderful site, and a fantastic group of people.

Thank you.

Howard

PS. A module will be in tomorrow, and the service is covered by my extended warranty.

Howard - bet the tech hates you now,,lol.

My experiences have been that the service writers and techs do not want to hear anything I have to say about the possible problem,,,,so I print off the POA posts and leave on the front seat.

Howard,

I'm glad to hear that the fine people of the POA were instrumental in helping.

PS... Don't mention my name at the dealership, cause they may charge you double.(LOL)

Howard, You are WRONG. You are much better than a Prowler tech. You did your homework, you read, you listened and you knew the answer hours before a tech knew. Therefore you are one step up, at least.
Glad to hear it is working out.

Want to baffle them? Call and tell them you are Edlly Catahan. They will think you are a tall balding short guy with long hair and a great sense of humor, unless they are working on your Red, Deep Candy, Silver, Orange Prowler!

Howard you be the man. I had the same experience with a particular dealer. They just won't listen to a customer.
