its interesting..I didn't know the Prowler tires can be rotated, always thought they are uni-directional and different sizes (front/rear)..much like the S2000. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4551525060&category=6414 |

You can switch from left to right if you take them off of the rims and remount them on the other rim. Front to front and back to back. |

just goes to show ya, cars sold on Ebay are in tip top shape, not only have the tires been rotated on that prowler, I bet the muffler bearings have been adjusted every oil change, along with lubing the linkage on the convertible top motor This message has been edited by 2000Cat on 05-25-2005 at 09:03 PM |

I ahd an 88 Acura Legend with BBS wheeels. The dealer did not have the proper equipment to balance those wheels. But every time I took it in for scheduled maintenance they tried to charge me for tire balance. Makes me wonder how many other things they charged for that they did not actually perform. |

Caution! I do not believe that you can/should move the tires front to back. Two unique sizes are used at either end of the Prowler. Best to just leave them at the OEM location. Every mount/dismount is a potential for disaster! |

I assume it's just a case of the dealer listing the car using a template and just typing in mileage, engine size etc. in the description. |

Quincy, not front to back, SIDE to SIDE. I am not saying you should do it, I said you can do it if you take them off the rims. It is possible, not that I would do it. I have 49,000 on my front tires and they still look great. I am on my third set of rears. |

I would not change the tires at all. All you are asking for is trouble. |

Ed. I have followed you before. I certainly understand why you are on your third set of rear wheels. |
