I'm considering a Prowler and I know the trunk is small. Will 2 (2 piece} fishing poles with reels fit in the trunk. This will be my everyday car that includes fishing. Is the roof manual or power? Thanks

Yes you can put a 2 piece poll in the truck but the roof is manual.

Purchase a weekender for the back and you will have plenty of room. a search or real Rods website should get you some pictures.

Put the top down and you can take an 8 foot pole, no problem. I would not recommend putting fish in the trunk. lol

I wouldn't recommend any rutty dirt roads getting to the favorite fishing hole on the river either. Prowler as your "only" car?? I don't know about that!!

The Prowler has worked fine for me as my only car and daily driver for four years and over 100,000 miles. Without a passenger I can even do the week's grocery shopping. Storage space for trips in at a premium but since buying the trailer, packing for trips is no longer a problem. A weekender would probably be much more versatile than the trailer for daily use.

As long as I have the mindset that the car is a daily driver, I can live with the fact that it may not always look "car show ready". In all that time I have only one door ding and that was from the parking lot at a place I was working.

Should not be a problem with the pole (Small one). A throw out line will work. Go fishing at Hotters with your kat, you will catch something. lol

Dang right I won't. I carry my rods either in the trunk or on road trips like for Crazy Horse in July I'll have them strapped to my bag on top of the luggage rack. You ought to see the looks that gets.

Great idea! Put the fold-up rod in the truck, fill the Weekender 1/2 full with water, & throw your catch in there! Why didn't I think of that?
