Man am I upset. If I'd known one of these was gonna become available, I would never have bought mine. This ruined my whole friggin' day.  It's one of those super rare factory 300hp models with the even rarer color changing paint. Whaddaya mean I'm nuts. Of course there is such a thing. I swear there is. There's one for sale right now ... Vehicle Description Rare red orange color daytime red, nighttime orange. (yes the color changes) This car has won awards at car shows. A very unique vehicle! non-smoker owned, excellent condition inside and out. It has a 300 horse power stock engine & loaded with every available options. The transmission is auto or can be shifted manually, with the Auto-Stick. Most people give me a 10 as to the excelent condition of this vehicle!

Dang! All of us Orange owners had been trying to keep this a big secret from everyone. Now everyone knows that our Orange Prowlers change colors. Of course it's all wasted on me since I'm color blind...hell I'm not even sure what color mine really is, but they tell me it's Orange! |

I'M THINKING THE GUY WHO HAS THIS CAR THINKS IT HAS 300 HP AND CHANGES COLORS AFTER HE HAS TOO MUCH TO DRINK.SO LET ME UNDERSTAND THIS, I CHANGED MY GEARS IN THE REAR END, CHANGED THE EXHAUST, PUT CHIPS IN THE ENGINE AND TRANS,INSTALLED A SHIFT KIT, IF I PUT A K AND N FILTER AND USED DIFFERENT OIL AND MAYBE GAS AND OCTANE BOOSTER THEN I WOULD HAVE A 300 HP PROWLER OR MORE, I NEED TO DO THESE THINGS NOW FOR SURE I'LL HAVE NO PROBLEM WRAPPING MY PROWLER AROUND A TREE. Can you believe this guy. This is too funny7 You asked: "Are you sure it has 300 hp?? The factory engines only have 253 hp. With electronics, synthetic oil and high performance filters like K&N and fuel additives (octane booster) you can achieve a substantial increase in horsepower. I was told this would bring a V-6 up to or very close to 300 horsepower. And not void a warranty.. If I am wrong anyone is welcome to correct me...this is the information that was passed to me. Other than tender loving care...there is no other modifications to this prowler. |

i already use the synthetic oil, got the k@n online for 50 bucks. how much fuel additive do i buy? just fill the tank? why aren't these tips in the Garage section on the site? guess this guy isn't a POA member |

This car is listed as a 1999. Isn't the orange color he has really the red? I didn't think the orange was available in 1999. |

I sent a question but no reply. I asked if the car could be seen in person, since he has it in storage for car shows. It is so unusual, no mods! If you are selling it why are you keeping it in storage for shows. DUH....   |

It sounds to me like the seller is just trying to sell his red prowler and he has not had the POA information advantage most of us have. I've said for years the red cars look orange in low light. |

I agree Marty - the Red 99 trailer I have at the house looks orange at night and in different light. More than a few people asked me where I got the orange trailer! |
