Picked up my prowler with 6700 miles outside Columbus OH on Saturday. It was a short 200 mile drive back to Pittsburgh. What a blast this car is. I love this site. Already taking advice and ordered splash guards or the front and rear and a car cover. What a great site to learn all the in's and out's of the car. Will be hot gluing the tabs on the center caps next weekend when I put the splash guards on. Thanks to all for the good forum and advice.

Mike, it is against the law to export Prowlers out of the state of Ohio. lol
Welcome and congrats on the car and finding us.
You ought to consider going to Detroit in two weeks and/or August for Woodward. That is a sight to see.

Am looking at pads now. Will do the pads, hot glue the center cap tabs, and install the splash guards and trunk hinge protectors next weekend. Better hide the bill from the wife. Told I wouldn't need anything else after I bought the car. Oh yeah and the hood pistons also

Mike,
You got a real good list going! Keep an eye on the front flaps before or after you install them. They may be a little too long for your liking. I had to trim off
1 3/4" just so I could make it up my driveway. Some members will say don't trim off any. It's up to you. Also...with the recommendation of a good friend of mine...I used a pair of Craftsman angled sheet metal snips to do my trimming. It gave me a nice clean edge on the flaps. I also used a compass to trace the contour of the bottom of the flap before cutting.

Just did my ceramic brake pads too. No more brake dust!!! Thanks to A/C on that Raybestos number.
Here's the number. Very easy to install.
Raybestos - PN# PGD730QS

You have questions...these guys have answers. Hey wait a minute...isn't that an Ace Hardware slogan? What an outstanding group of people on this site.

Oh...and I told my wife the same prior to buying my Prowler, about it not needing a thing.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Brian

Thanks for thinning the herd around here! Makes mine a little more unique!

Congrats on the Yellow. I assume it was the one up in Johnstown. Never saw the car, only pictures. Looks great! Enjoy the ride!

Hiding the bill works... but you will get "Mod Fever"... it may start as simply as a K & N filter, or you might jump right into flames, turn signal relocation kits, cooler covers.....
remember, never feel guilty about the Kat... she'll get over it.

ohhh by the way.. there is no cure !

Have fun and ask all the questions you want ... these folks are #1
