We debated on which area to place this for best viewing by those attending or planning to attend this year's Official National POA Event ... so ... here it is. The committee would like input in the form of a post to this thread on the following information pertaining to Event shirts. 1. Would you prefer Tank Top or T-Shirt (these are the only two choices - no polo's being offered for cost reasons) that MOST LIKELY will be silk screened NOT embroidered. 2. What size would you order in the above style you selected (please specify men's or women's too please) 3. Do you have any ideas or input for a "slogan" or "Title" for this year's Wisconsin Dells destination? (and please, we already discussed the very funny option of: Prowl Wisconsin and Smell the Dairy-air!) 4. Do you have any ideas or input for a logo for this year's National POA event in the Wisconsin Dells? 5. Would you still order a shirt if there were an event sponsor's logo on the shirt somewhere and; IF that logo were from a DC Dealership and IF they were offsetting a portion of the shirt cost and IF their logo was smaller than the actual Event Logo? Cost as yet to be determined, will depend on quantity, extent and number of graphics and potential sponsor participation. Please respond if you are registered to attend the event and would like a shirt delivered at the event. Also, please respond if you can not attend this year's event, but MAY wish to purchase one in advance of the event as well. Reply format as follows: 1 T-shirt woman's size L This message has been edited by Ray on 03-29-2005 at 05:35 PM |

Marty now that's funny, sponsor logo on the sleeve of a tank top.lol 1 t-shirt mens XL As far as a slogan if I mention PTS most know what that means so I would say Prowlin' the Dells PTD As far as the logo goes, I'll leave that up to the resident artists. |

You mentioned silk screened due to cost. Share with us the cost for an embroidered as opposed to cost of a silk screened "T". To my knowledge all event shirts to this point have been embroidered, and I feel that the cost was reasonable. The embriodered Golf shirts are a much nicer shirt and can be worn as casual dress when we go out at home. I feel that this lends more credence to our "organization". I'm just suggesting that you offer both, with pricing and let us decide. If the majority would prefer a silk screened "T", no problem. If actual garment or embroidering costs are higher in your area, maybe some of us in other areas can check on pricing for you. These are all just suggestions, and I will go with the majority. |

TopKat ... thank you for your suggestion, and while I too appreciate and wear often a nice polo/golf-style shirt from past car events, we were looking at this from a pure logistics and inventory management perspective. Perhaps we missed a 'detail' item. In order to establish a baseline, however, we would like this thread to stay on track with the criteria outlined (and updated thanks to some early posts raising questions) above AND, once we get a design and slogan and rough count, will ALSO explore an event polo/golf shirt as an "option". If we can work the sponsorship angle and their logo will NOT overshadow the event image, it would be nice if the T's/tanks are included with your registration packet and then the "option" will be to BUY a polo/golf Event shirt. I hope this clarifies and allows this thread to continue as intended, to establish a "count" of sizes by styles and sex, and logo/slogan input. Thank you all ... |

2 XXXL T-Shirts (One size bigger then I really need they shrink). You guys pick it. I liked the Golf shirts you did in Texas and Prowlin Canada! I think everyone who signs up should get one. Adjust entry fee to pay for them. Pay for extra ones for wives and kids. ------------------ |

For me depending on the shirt manufacture a Large can be either just right or too small T Shirt Mens Large (possibly an X large) It would be nice to know if the shirts being considered, by comparison run small regular or large. If you could list the brand name it would be helpful. |

Meangene and CJ, appreciate the input and comments but neither of you provided the requested info on what is being asked in this thread ... it will be dificult for us to keep count on the "basic information" and make the appropriate decissions if we can't keep focused. I hope you both understand and can edit your post to include style, size, sex and count please. Thank you =) |

2 T-Shirts, mens XL. Sponsor is OK if not over powering. If we had someone who could do the artwork how about a picture of Prowlers crusing somewhere in the Dells? If on a mountain road or cruise strip in a town have 12 cars in the order they were produced by color (ie: Purple,...,High Voltage Blue). Maybe something in an abstract design. |

If you have helped plan a large event you know that the little things really pile up, especially the last few weeks. The more things that you can take care of early on, the less you have to do at the last minute and you can possibly enjoy the event along with the rest of the attendees. Please post what you want/need, the sooner the better so that the planners can get it done, get it right and have time to enjoy the week at the Dells. Thank you for your continued support. P.S. I am not on the planning committee. |
