Cut it in half and rejoin it when it gets to you--why not? |

Alaska, I wish you the best in finishing up your prowler, but looking back, do you wish you just bought a complete prowler? By the way..... now you know why we don't listen to butchcee too often. |

Actually have considered Butchee's idea !! and may use it . I need to paint the fender anyway so ......Been @ this so long that I hate to create extra work . No ! I love to do things that others tell me can't be done . Replacing all the broken suspension learning about fabricating aluminum have been invaluable . When I am done the value may come to a dollar an hour . Pleased I'll be !! + ,a low mi Prowler will not become parts ! Bruce ,ALASKA |

What are the specifications for the fender? You have the length, do you also have the width, weight and weight? I've shipped quite a few large items over the years, I'll be happy to try to find a solution for you. I also have a good friend that lives in Anchorage, so if all else fails he shoudl be able to assist. Email me here for details! Dave |

No Greyhound bus but what about contacting someone who does bus tours from the mainland to Alaska? How about a cruise boat - someone going that way that could help him out? |

I had a harley boxed and shipped to me in Texas from Anchorage for only $1200 so there must be a cheaper way. Most carriers go on the dimensions of the box. See what those are and see if you can cut (the box) down any to make it fall into a different (ie. cheaper) class. |
