I'm looking for a good set of front and rear mud flaps. I'm getting too much splash back when I drive. Thanks in advance. |

I bought them at a chrysler dealer in california. From the Look on the prowler, i dont like the mud flares. But, they are realy important. Without them, over the time, you damage your rear fender . I have them on on long distance driving , for car shows I put the flares off. |

They are the very first mod anyone should make. I have seen some kats where the flaps have been painted and i think they look pretty good that way. About $60.00 for front and back is a bargain. |

How do the flaps attach? Is there special drilling required? |

007 - all the mud flaps have the holes in them. Fronts mount to existing bracket within the fenders. Front sets come with all the hardware included to install. Rears go up onto the rear taillight assemblies. Easy to do. I trimmed 1 1/4" off of my fronts. This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 03-05-2005 at 04:14 PM |

Caution, do not overtighten the fronts or the rears. If you overtighten the rear, you can crack the taillight lens or even worse, possibly cause the fender to crack at the lower outside of the lens. If you overtighten the front you can damage the fender. |

I bought all four from my local dealer last week, took one day for them to get in. Makes a big difference with splash marks on the side. |

Use loktite on the nuts or your front flaps will come loose. Don't trim the flaps if you can get away with it....the lower they hang the more rocks they deflect. |
