good day to all! last night the weather was great here in lawton oklahoma so i took the kitty out of the litter box to play. people have been telling me there is a gold kat here in town well last night on the normal cruise route (not a big town) there he was going the other way, so when i could i made a u-turn but he was gone so i figured i would just follow the normal route people cruise. well i did get lucky i cought up to him at a local detail shop. he freaked when he came out of the store and saw my purple cat parked next to him. so we met and talked for a long time, he has a 2002 inca gold, it really is a nice color when you see it in person! i think we talked about every inch of our kats! lol! and when he saw jays shimmers on my kat he went nuts! thats why he was at the detail shop to find dress up parts for his kat but with no luck. so anyway he will be over one night this week as he asked me for help. i told him about the POA and the great people, products and the priceless info on here! hes not into the computer thing but will be when i get done with him! lol! then after our talk we went for a cruise! let me tell you if two kats together was that much fun i cant wait to get together with other kat owners!! the best part of the story is i made a new friend!! take care all richard & janet |

Richard, Sounds like you had a great time! I have always liked the Inca Golds and as you mentioned...like most cars...they do look better in person. That's so cool that you tracked him down. I think in cruising around up here in NH I had seen a total of maybe 2 the entire Summer. Not like in Texas...they must see two in one hour. Don't know why the Cat never caught on up here. Guess they don't know beauty when they see it...definitely NOT talking about me. Anyway...thanks for posting such a cool story. Brian |

That's good to hear. I live in a very small town and just don't see other kats on the road. Glad you told him about this site. |

LOL...I've "run down" another Prowler..or at least made a U-turn to where it was parked... I was always dissapointed to see the Prowler in poor condition and the owner not as fanatical as me though... |

Richard, Welcome to the POA and glad you found some new friends. Question...I was station there at Ft. Campbell back in the 80's, Is Grandpa's still there??? I believe it was call Grandpa's. We lived in Lawton for a few years. We have friends that still live there? Hope to see you at one of the Prowler events. |
