I had the opportunity to meet Bill today and see his beautiful Red Prowler. You could tell he really loves his car as it was so well maintained. Bill told me he bought a weekender and plans to change the side panels. In addition he will be adding a chrome front grill in the near future. We had a great time talking about Prowlers . I have to say Bill surprised me when he asked if I bought the Chrome Stem Caps for my Prowler . When I said I did, I got the feeling he didn't like them. Puzzled, I looked at him, and then was immediately handed a set of Logo Caps with the Prowler Kat on them. Bill made my day. My Prowler now looks a lot better with the Logo Caps. Thanks to a great person.

Bill must like you better than he does me. I met him early Saturday morning and he "didn't give me anything" Eventhough I didn't drive my Prowler, maybe he knew I already had the logo caps...I still think he is an "OK" guy! |

Howard - It was great meeting you, only wish I would have had more time to spend. However, as I pass through the area about 6 or 7 times a month, we will do it again.  POA members - I watch the discussion forum quite close. I can tell by how Howard expresses himself that he is truly in love with his Kat. When we met I took a look at the broken center cap that he posted about in the Off Topic Discussion section. He has not repaired it yet and had it held to the rim with 3 pieces of elect. tape. I could see in his eyes that this mishap bothered him. When I was at Boyd's I bought 2 sets of Logo stem caps from Larry and had them in my pocket. Well, I thought a little gift would put a smile on his face, and it did Mike - I go through the Oxnard/Ventura area 2 times a month. When I take this route it is a 350 drive and takes about 8 hr's so I don't have a lot of time, but yes, I'll send a PM before my next trip. David (Y2KRedProwler) - I O U a lot more than a set of Logo Caps, we will have to do lunch or dinner sometime. I still want to see your Kat. ------------------ |
