Reba & I attended a charity benefit tonight at a local museum and parked in the museum parking lot. When we came out 3 1/2 hours later I realized we were actual parked under a raised section of I-64 next to the Ohio River. As we got closer I noticed something was wrong. Then I saw thew car was covered in pigeon sh*t. I am talking about 26 spots on the windshield alone - Reba actually counted them. There must have been 200 to 300 spots all together. I drove straight to a self service carwash. Nothing like washing the Prowler at 11 PM on a Saturday Night in February in a sport coat and dress shoes! |

Those pigeons loved your car. They left a deposit on it. Hope you got all the spots off. |

quote: I put the top down as we were coming back from the Boyd's tour today. Went under a freeway underpass and there was a lot of water dripping from above (it rained the past two days, appeartly the water didn't completely dry up). So as soon as traffic cleared, I floored it to miss the drips. Long story short, I got a huge drop of water fall right into my eye.... I don't think it was really clean water as my eye began to sting.... Probably full of dirt and oil from the road above. At least the car stayed dry. By the way, my parents always told me bird poop is good luck. Just think of it this way, you'll have good luck times 300. As long as you got it washed up within a few hours you should be ok. I learned how much damage bird poop can cause if not cleaned up quickly the hard way with my last black car..... it took off the paint all the way to the primer. |

Ed and I would have drove to the self service car wash and had Sandy and Lethia wash the cat,,,,keeping our sport coat and dress shoes clean. BTW - if you have any crap stains that didn't wash off well,,,,Meguairs Hand Polish # M-8132 does the trick |

You should have seen the people on the interstate staring while we were driving to the carwash. We are use to people looking at the car, but the expressions were like "what the %#$& happened to that car!" Since the car doesn't have windshield wipers, I couldn't even clean off the wondshield before we got to the carwash.

When we were in St.John, Newfoundland, we took a jet boat ride. A guy changed clothes since he was totally soaked. He had his new clothes on for about 5 seconds when a seagull got him. He changed again, the second time within a minute. My car is nicer than my clothes so I can sympathize with you Marty. |

The droppings are worse than acid rain. I had bird droppings on my car and it ate into my clearcoat after only 2 hours...what the heck are those things eating?!? |

I wish I had a camera with us. The pic would certainly have been a leading contender for "What not to do with a Prowler" |
