For some time now I have not been happy with my username. Sounds kind of negative. Here are some ideas we have come up with. Taking opinions and/or new suggestions. For those not familiar with our Kat here is a link to our scrapbook.
I am kind of leaning towards ToonKat because of our graphics and the Prowler toons I draw .
Thanks
Rich Ware

how about, ED MONAHAN....

....no, I think maybe someone is using that one already...

...Rich, I never thought your username sounded negative at all....I always thought it was quite clever....

...'TOONKAT' would be my choice of the ones listed....

I've always liked your user name and it ties in with your last name which is pretty cool. I don't find it negative at all. It goes with the Kat mural also. I vote no change.

With your last name being Ware I understand why you chose Beware! But I don't think it's negative. All your choices were good. Purplekat, CustomCat? I'm CTProwler My initials or my State? PurpleProwler? RWProwler GAProwler

Rich, as one of the original chatters & website fanatics, I'd hate to see you give up your original name! I remember the night (years ago) when the chat group started devising screen names.....we had a lot of fun. I never thought it had a negative connotation - it's definitely a nice play on your name plus gives that avatar a unique style. Any one can have a cat/kat name....only you can Be Ware.

If you really are looking for a change though, I'll give in and admit that ToonKat is a good one! Ultimately, you're the one who needs to be happy.

I think BeWare is great. Never for a minute felt it was negative. I actually think it's right in line with the image of the Big Kats on the prowl. All are good choices but BeWare is very unique; an ingenious use of your name. JMHO

Debbie...I remember that night too...brain storming on Usernames..What FUN ..brings back great memories...

Rich...I think it's a cool handle..but if you're not happy with it..change it. I'm not too crazy about any of the alternatives you posted...but again..it's your choice all the way..

oooh..ooOH!..OOOHH!! I GOT it...How about "Be-Ware".
Throw in a hyphen? No longer threatening and less filling . Respects heritage with a subtle difference, yet a substanial change to initial interpretation? Implies sensitivity to the importance of being yourself and not pretentious...

Rich,
gonna join the majority here - it's a no brainer for me -

"BeWare"..........that's actually the first screen name I noticed WAYYYY before starting to post as an "active" member and I THOUGHT......woah - BeWare of THIS Prowler......must be one mean machine........but not negative in ANY way !!

Change it for any reason but not because it sounds negative cuz it doesn't !!

Rich,
Leave it alone - no use changing a good thing!

If anyone needs to change their screen name it's me.

Wow, I guess I missed out on the vote and the brainstorming for usernames. lol
Actually I would have said to leave your screen name as it is, after 4 years, that is who you are to us.
I am always leary of folks who change their screen names. There was once a guy named Phoenix Sun Cat or something like that and I have always been a little concerned about him. lol

Rich, If you change your name I will need another CAR-TOON with your new signature. I say stay with BEWARE, but if you have to make a change go with HARDWARE or SOFTWARE...let Linda decide!
