Is there any modification (big or small) you wish you could undo OR wouldn't do again if you had the choice to ? If so, what was/is it ?? This message has been edited by Dustis on 02-04-2005 at 04:22 PM |

Let's see Removed the nitrous kit Wasn't happy with treadlife of Dunlop SP9000 tires, replaced with Cooper tires Changed the suspension filler panel Changed the leather on the shifter and brake handle boots twice. Bought and sold a dash pad cover Removed the door edge guard from the grill Got rid of the Borla exhaust tips, tried four other sets and went back to the Borlas Seven different kind of mufflers Sold Paxton headers and installed long tube custom headers Installed and years later removeda steerring wheel ring Installed and removed six months later a black & white leather steering wheel cover Installed Shimmers in the rear bumpers, then removed the bumpers Installed then removed rear mud flaps Installed and changed MTD COld Air Intake Installed and remnoved lower suspension braces Installed then replaced an upper suspension brace with RealRod brace that moves up & down Installed stainless frame cover infront of rear wheels and removed later due to larger rear tires rubbing them Probably more (not counting engine swaps) Next time I'm staying stock! Marty Since you removed that door edge from the Grill you need to apply for a refund from Alley Cat. He doesn't keep good records and will gladly send you a refund. After I removed mine my Car Ran at least one second faster in the quarter mile. Best UNMOD I have ever made. I have asked him to repay me the 1000 pennies that I sent him over 3 years ago. All my other mods are fine. Like the Lambo doors the best....(well at least second to the Paxton SC). Dan G |

i haven't done alot, but have not regreted any of them... it seems everything i've done has turned out better that i imagined. love my flames, love the infinity spoiler, thrilled with the Tom Mills kit, AC's chrome grill system is first class, I haven't installed the Borla system yet or driven the car with the k & n filter, but am sure they will be equally as pleasing... next on my list for this spring is a dash kit from Superior Dash, some Shimmers and the clear side lights. next winters projects: polished calipers & knuckles, paint the A arms black and upgrade the speakers.... wife will be ready to dump me by then...... |

quote: Dan,, Better not wish for something too much. Judging from AC's past antics, he might ship your 1000 pennies back to you "freight collect". Your refund could cost you some big bucks. LOL |

With my headlight replacement panels having louvers to match the grill it was just a lot of chrome up front competing witht he chrome headlight casings and not having money for more mods but always wanting "change" I decided to remove the chrome. I got my money's worth out of it. I want nothing to do with AC's lawyer! |
