Does anybody have any information on the reproduction wheels listed on E-Bay? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=43960&item=7943394417&rd=1&ssPageName=WD1V Are they accurate reproductions? What is the chrome on them like? Can they be differentiated from originals? Just wondering, Kraut |

Kraut - I noticed what Al said also,,,,$9.90 to ship didn't sound right to me either. Says bright silver, not chrome,,,,but maybe that is what you are looking for. |

They actually list both chrome and silver wheels on E-Bay. The silver wheels are a little cheaper than the chrome ones. Both sites show a very poor quality photo of the wheels. I sent them a note asking them to show a high quality photo, so you could see what you were buying. Got no response, which makes me a bit suspect of the site. I bought a couple of real nice rears on E-Bay a couple of weeks ago for $400. they have some very minor light pitting on the inside, but the outsides are perfect. I'm still in need of a couple of fronts, to complete the set. I'm thinking about getting the insides of the rims powder coated in clear to prevent the pitting from getting any worse. Has anyone ever done this? Kraut |

$489.00 for one? Sounds a tad high to me. Shipping is actually about right. I sent four 20" Dodge ram wheels for $13.00 each across country. It's not considered oversized so it just goes by weight. |

I paid $11.00 per wheel to ship mine. I bought replacement wheels from Wheel Collision Service when they used to stock them. They still repair them, but do not stock any. At that time it was $275.00 per wheel with core, $350.00 without a core to trade in. |

shipping is way underpriced unless the shipper had a special volume account. |

The two rear wheels I just got a couple weeks ago, came UPS Ground. I was charged $30 each by the sender. Seemed reasonable to me. |

Now that's the info I was looking for. I rather suspected that those wheels wouldn't be too great, hence the lousy pictures. Thanks for the feedback. |

I also noticed they only listed 20" wheels and there was a note that said "FR=RR" which to me implies they are saying the Prowler only needs one size of wheel front and back. Caveat emptor with these guys. |
