Well, I've had conversations with MOPAR and with CoverCraft (who did the OEM covers for MOPAR). I've been given permission to take over producing the car covers (as DC has officially discontinued them) and CoverCraft is working on some special pricing for the Prowler owners. We have discussed doing the covers in the OEM fabric and a new breathable and a "as close to waterproof as you can get" cover. It's possible to have the two options. We have talked about doing the logo embroidery in the matching car colors and we may even have the option of having your name embroidered on them also. These covers will be able to be ordered with a no minimum basis and drop shipped from the vendor. I should have the pricing in the next couple of days and at that time I will give complete info. This includes the Prowler car cover, the car cover bag and the trailer covers. They should be cool! ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! I paid a lot of money on Ebay for my original cover, but I'm still happy if this deal goes thru. Its good for POA and future Kat owners. Thanks CJ PS, I still need a trailer cover! |

Leo .. sorry to hear that, but one never knows, huh! CJ ... Great Work!! If they can come in the same as OEM logo, but in the respective colors of our Kats WITH name ... I will get a spare (based on price of course). Another HUGE win for CJ and the POA! |

Leo, I'm also sorry that you had to pay a lot for your cover. All the logos on the covers have been done in the original purple. I don't know what color cat you have, but mine are black and Candy Red. My thought was to perhaps sell mine used to someone who owns a purple cat and buy new ones in my matching colors! |

WOW - way to go CJ. I was saving my OEM kat and trailer covers (that I never use) to sell for my retirement since they have been selling at such ridiculous prices on eBay. Oh well, now I will have to find another way!! This message has been edited by blubyu on 01-06-2005 at 06:25 AM |

CJ - Thanks for your efforts! I don't need another one since I got an OEM one and a lightweight travel one shortly after buying my Prowler, but I certainly appreciate this being done for all the Kat owners out there who don't have one. ------------------ |

C.J. THANK YOU!!! I have been holding out on buying one cause I could not justify the pricing I have seen on e-bay...at the end of the day it was still just a car cover...no matter if it was OEM or not. Now with this offer I can reconsider it and still get a "nearly" OEM cover for hopefully a far more realistic price....GREAT EFFORT and truly appreciated...interested to see how they price out Jim |
