...if this manual listed on EBAY can still be purchased through DC? I thought that this manual could be purchased brand new for about $95.00. The seller on EBAY also indicates it has never been used but look at the scratches on the protective plastic binder that its in. Thanks again for your help everyone and have a good day! Brian Oh...and Happy New Year to all!!! Sorry about that...forgot to include the link from EBAY Here it is: This message has been edited by TooHipCat on 12-30-2004 at 01:40 AM |

https://techauthority.gltghosting.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CustomerHome?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10051 Prowlers are on page 2 after you get to the service manuals. I saw the one you are looking at and it wouldn't be scratched like that if unused. If you look close at the page edges you can see some black finger print marks. I got mine at the above link a while back. I think they still have them, and was cheaper than DC sold them for. To get it from DC, call the dealer and they can give you a number to call. My 97-99 manual was $55 plus $4.95 shipping + $4.95 tax ($64.90 total) for the manual itself. The binder was $39 + $6.95 shipping + $3.79 tax ($49.74 total). Manual is part # 812709123. Binder part # 8169996224. Manual purchased 5-9-03. Binder purchased 9-5-03. I think prices may have gone up since I bought. 1-800-423-7915 for Tech Authority. 1-800-890-4038 for DC. (I guess I got the binder thru DC.) Price shop. Maybe contact Jeff Hunter at moparsupercenter.com and see what he can offer. http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum6/HTML/003009.html |

Thanks once again everyone for your help. I am definitely going to try and purchase a brand new one instead of a used one on EBAY. Have a great day! Brian |

I have two of these Manuals one at home and one at my shop both are new and with very little use but they both have scratches on them and its from shear weight of the book (approximately 16 or more LBS)and the plastic binder cover. Unless you are going to place it on towel or soft surface when you use it a new will show signs of wear in no time. Toys |
