They announced on the local news tonight about a guy that had his car stolen. Seems a guy paid cash to a wrecker to tow the guy's car to another location, claiming that he was the real owner of the car. Since the tow truck driver towed the car in good faith, they aren't responsible, and the guy who's car was stolen has no recourse on the wrecker driver or his company. He's just SOL. |

Now the thief can be identified by the tow trucker driver. Not a very smart move, in my opinion. |

Growwl, an honest locksmith will not do that without some form of proof, etc. We do that all the time. I have several keys with me now for cars. |
