http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4512696840 Looks like someone crossed an ad for a Prowler and an SRT-10 Dodge Ram That would make a SUPER PROWLER. This message has been edited by Scotty on 12-18-2004 at 10:15 PM |

I have seen many people calling the Kats, and Kat related items, Dodges. Not so long ago someone was selling a "rare" 2000 Dodge Prowler service manual. I guess Kat Crazy people like us now that they are Plymouth/Chrysler |

I think this is a case of a dealer listing several vehicles for sale on ebay and had just entered a Dodge Ram for sale and only changed the description and pictures when listing the Prowler. |

reported the fraudulent ad to ebay... You should do the same. This is what I selected: Login to ebay and click on "securtiy center" at the bottom of the page. item #: 4512696840 - Report problems with other Ebay members --- Fraud concerns for buyers ----- Report a listing you think is fraudulent (you didn't bid) |

I know this dealership in Ringgold GA, is about 45 min. away from us and we've been there a couple of times to check out Vipers - just tried to call the phone number but since it's Sunday, everybody's in church around here ! Gonna try it again tomorrow and check it out - I think Marty is right and they just messed up the listing ! |

You're probably right, just an error in the listing. BUT, if it were real, bring on your Z-06's one & all. "It's clobbering time"! Don't know if I would pursue the "fraudulant" issue though. that kind of thing would follow you throughout your eBay relationship. If however is was really fraud, then...........Life is all about choices! |

Just called the dealer AND as suspected it was a simple listing error by (and I quote) "the dumba$$ that listed it" Since the listing ends in 5 hours I don't know if they will just cancel the auction or not but I guess someone will get a great deal on that Mulholland ! |

They're not real keen on getting the facts straight on the car. It's a Dodge, it's got a V-10, it has only 250 miles on it (then below they say it's got 2450 miles on it). Someone should buy it for $32K and then DEMAND it have the V-10 in it or sue the pants off them! |

The high bidder only has one feedback. He bought a 2004 Cadillac XLR conv. in Nov. and was the only bidder on that car, also. |

quote: He also pulled his bid right before it ended. Probably a friend of the seller trying to inflate the price. It didn't work. |

'Just spoke with the salesman who tried feverishly to cancel the auction. What he did tell me was that the remaining bidder had spoke with him early in the auction about shipping. At that point, all info was clarified. The basis of the problem evolved when the dealership had previously sold the Viper powered Dodge Ram and then clicked on "sell a similar item". They substituted the correct phots but were unable to change the text (so says the salesman). To bad. I would love to have seen this make-believe prowler". Ed |
