Can't see the pics, but I can relate. Saw the Prowlwer back then in the Javitts Convention Center in NYC for the New York Auto Show. Fell in love, brought back a poster and waited....... ------------------ |

i remember seeing the concept drawings in a car magazine and thought they would never even make a concept car... when i saw the concept car i thought they would never produce them to sell to the public.... when they went for sale i thought i would never be able to afford one.... and now i'm up to my a$$ in debt but living my dream... true stuff.. |

quote: Yeah, the headlights on the concept look real cool. I asked Norb at TGF about them, he said street legal cars needed the headlights to be further apart from each other and that's why the production prowler has them sticking out from pods. |

Here are a few pictures of the Plymouth Prowler Roadshow that the sports marketing company I worked for handled for Chrysler. I was the Program Manager for this display and I was able to work a number of the shows. These pictures were taken when the display was set up for Woodward Dream Cruise. ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |

I have a pair of those rear wheels. If I ever find the front pair, you'll see them on my car. If not, maybe someday when I give up looking, I'll make 2 glass top end tables. ------------------ This message has been edited by Larry Lord on 12-08-2004 at 01:03 AM |

CJ, Whatever happed to the big inflatable Prowler shown on the roof? If that ever resurfaced it would make a cool addition to a POA event. ------------------ |

Looking at the camber on inflatable's front wheels,it looks like it was set up for NASCAR clockwise racing. Probably a European model. |

CJ - when you and I were talking at the Turkey Run I mentioned the "ribs" between the spokes on the concept's wheels and how good they looked. See what I mean? Larry - those wheels are WAY too cool to make end tables out of them. Have you thought about taking a set of stock painted front wheels and having someone modify them so they match the rear wheels you already have? I wouldn't think it would be too tough to add the "ribs" in between the spokes with a little aluminum stock, a welder, and a bit of finesse. Then just repaint them with the same silver paint and you're good to go. I would absolutely LOVE to have a set of those wheels on my car. I've always thought they should have put them on the production cars instead of losing the ribs. Wanna sell 'em?

One more thing. Man would I like to be able to fit a set of 345s on the back of my Prowler. Those look outstanding on the back of that concept car. I'm jealous |
