Have you actually taken time to look at other car websites? I believe a lot of us - myself included - don't realize how much more advanced and user friendly prowleronline.com is compared wioth other sites.

Also, I did some random surfing and reading on several sites and our members here appear to be much more friendly with true realtionships developed instead of "virtual" relationships on other car sites.

I know sometimes there are negative posts and we have occassional threads where people go at each other, but on other sites it happens all the time - it is the norm instead of the exception.

Prowleronline.com rules!!

Hey I agree!

I try to look at the site several times a day while at the desk waiting on phone calls & such and really appreciate what everyone puts into it. The info I gain here is immeasurable and the friendships are priceless. Then when you throw in the humor - what more can you ask for.

This is about the only site I look at during the day!!

I not only feel it's the best automotive website out there but overall...the "BEST SITE ON THE WEB"
Members may have made a comment or two that they wish they could take back...I know I have...but we're all human. Try and remember that you never know what the other person has on their plate which unfortunately has placed them in a bad mood. This life is way too short to hold a grudge. This site is comprised of so many GREAT members that are always willing to lend a hand.
I just hope I get a chance to meet a good portion of you someday at a future Prowler event. Unfortunately they are a pretty good hike from NH. Maybe Canada next year.
I guess as the saying goes..."If you can't say something nice...don't say it at all". I hope I too can practice what I preach.
You guys are the greatest!!! Thanks again for making this such a great site!!! Now I just have to get off my a$$ and make my yearly donation. Have a great day everyone.

Brian

I just have to quote Halicat:
"thanks mike and everyone for this bright spot to sit in the sun !!!!" I fully agree...thank you Mike!!!

www.thunderbirdnest.com is every bit as great as this one and even has a tech question thread answered by a T-bird tech.

I agree fully about this website. I am a member of a couple other car sites and they are nowhere near as friendly. The people are not truthful, or even respectful of anyone else's feeelings / opinions.

I was telling my wife and kids this weekend that it is really super to have a website this informative. If there are any questions or concerns about anything you might run acrossed someone is going to give you a suggestion.

Also it is nice to be able to go to a function / car show and apply a face to a name.

TOTALLY AWESOME SIGHT.

I agree wholeheartedly. Last week I posted that I needed help with the Prowler rack bolt. Real Rod Bob told me to check to see the size and he would send me one. He is in Minnesota. Dave Mills posted a couple of pictures for me since I did not know what it looked like and then called me to tell me he posted the pics. Richard Jackson in the GREY Prowler said he would loan me his bolt. It turns out the hardware was taped to the underside of the lid of the box and I missed it since it was much smaller than I expected it to be.
I also had a couple of emails telling me to drill it out or to not drill it out. People are especially helpful and friendly and go out of their way to do things for each other.
It is definitely a great site made possible by Mike & Judy but also all the people who use it. If no one posted, the site would be useless. So I encourage all you lurkers to post from time to time. If you want to spice things up, just post something in the classifieds. lol

The people really make the website special. There is no other car "club" like it I can find or have heard about on a national level.

The website itself is most user friendly also. It is easy to navigate. Most of other sites are devoid of images & banners. Our search feature is very useful and the info contained in areas outside the discussion board is superb.

Totally agree with the other posts....awesome site and the events to go with it.Some of the best laughs over the years have been associated with this site and the people...
The other sites I frequent are the Viper board and as of recent the Hummer board...but not as good!

I'm proud to have been privileged to be a part of this site from the beginning. We've come a long way and have a long way to go. The journey has had it ups and downs and will continue to be that way........but there is nowhere else I'd rather be. We have been very lucky to have made so many great friends through owning a Prowler and belonging to this group. We look forward to every event and to seeing all our "old" friends and meeting new ones.

We agree with all that has been said. The Friends that we have made through the POA are some of the best friends we have ever had. At the end of each event I am already looking forward to the next. If there is an event that we can't make for whatever reason I am always crushed and depressed. It nearly killed me not to be able to make the Turkey Run this year. Next year we plan to make it to the Dells, possibly the Power Tour and also Woodward. Its been way too long since the last time weve seen our friends. This sight helps keep me going between events.

...I frequent the Viper boards and the Corvette boards.....NOWHERE, I MEAN NOWHERE, is there a group like the POA....many boards are full of trash talk... kinda like watching Jerry Springer, you can only see so many fat chix in their underwear before it gets old.......even the occasional disagreements here are nothing like the foul drivel elsewhere......the POA sorta feels like home....thanx to all who help make it a fun place to visit everyday.....

Rich, I agree. It is gonna seem strange to not attend any major events in 2005. I am certainly going to miss seeing everyone. The house construction will take most of the summer for us.

It's appropriate and timely to recognize POA, and the people who define the warm and benefical character of this site. I've met many of you regulars and I feel like I know you better than a neigbor. For participants I have yet to meet, I still feel like I know your sense of humor, your personality and friendship through the reading and trading posts.

The theme of this thread should continue to be about what a great website this is. However, let's not forget to contribute to the site as a new year approaches.

Yo Mary,..I mean Marty...(hehehehee ) you're spot on, thanks for this post.
