Thanks Radcat Rich, for the downloads. It was (as everyone can tell) one of my favorites as well. Thanks Dan Pena for the great banner and hunting for the cartoon character for me. Rich, I just saw the post, but , my buddy Dave Mills told me about it on Saturday at the new Air and Space static display at Dulles Airport in Washington. It is part of the Smithsonian. If any of you are aviation nuts like me, this is a must see!!!!! The Enterprise ( space shuttle), The Enola Gay (B-29, which dropped the first atomic bomb), The French Concord, and about 40 other impressive aircraft indoors in a hanger. Very , very impressive. Thanks again Rich. Jim ------------------ |

Rich, yes there is a hanglider hanging from the ceiling, as well as a P-40, an F-4 Corsair, a Hellcat, and many others. On the floor are a Mig 15, Mig 21, a Stearman, a Jenny, the first Boeing 707, and many many more from early aviation to future aviation. Many Allison, Packard, and Rolls engines on stands as well as many radials on stands . It is a wing nut's candy store!!!!!! I hope you have a chance to visit it . Jim ------------------ |
