Anyone care to guess how much a Prowler would be worth if it were to be sold off as parts? U can probably make a couple grand just selling off stuff we take off the car for one reason or the other i.e. floor mats, wipers, visors, bumpers, grill, run flat tires, etc. Seems we buy up spare parts as if they were gold yet used car value is poor for very low mileage cars with such appeal and limited availability. Wanted to sell my car but might be interested in selling off 37 or more parts for $1000 a piece. Thoughts?

You think there are more than 37 parts worth $ 1000 each on the car?
I think the conv. top, the hood, 4 rims, trunk lid, engine, doors and you are about out of high priced parts.

Guess there is the frame, interior, bumpers........??

As parts become more scarce, I guess you might be able to demand higher than normal prices for some of the parts.

I would think you would need to factor in your time to advertise, take orders, disassemble, wrap, ship, etc.

You have to get the buyers, every one right now don't need these parts. Some who are putting mods on there kats would buy them to put the car back to stock when they sell. Down the road will be a different story.

The bumpers are not worth a whole lot, right now. I would think side panels would also be fairly cheap since so many are replacing the stock side panels. Although a lot of owners are holding on to the original parts. See Tangle up in Blue's post about that.
