Does anyone know what's inside the bumpers? What would it look like if the plastic covers wern't there?

I opened one of mine up just a aluminum arm and the plastic bumper.

Meancat is actually right. The bumpers are an aluminum substructure with plastic covering.

Kevin, one of mine got pushed in and I am going to replace it. It is not horrible but the outside edge got hit and it pulled it away from the rivets (?) toward the center of the car. It will be an exact duplicate of what is already on the car, hopefully. (stock!!!)
