I was looking for touch up paint and CTProwler (Chuck) offered to send me a bottle he had. Are the POA members great or what?
I was thinking that his "random" act of kindness deserves to be perpetuated.
So I do not have much to offer since I have only been a owner for 2 months. But I will offer a copy of a 2001 Mulholland window sticker (Thanks Dustis) without charge or shipping to the first person to post he wants it. That person must then offer something to the first person who posts wanting it. If you want it you are obligated to offer something else without charge (Prowler related). The item can be large or small, expensive or inexpensive. Just so we keep the chain of kindness going.
This may end after a few posts or go on for months.
Thanks again CTProwler for your act of kindness.

Dustis, you too are a class act. Thanks again for the window sticker you sent me. A copy of it is what I am paying forward. Hopefully I will accumulate more Prowler stuff as time goes on and will have more to pay forward.

Would you believe we wrote a topic, on which light bulbs were the best to install on the Prowler. Lo and behold Chuck wrote us and said if you want the 9005 bulbs, I have some. He sent us 4, yes 4. Yes, CT Prowler (Chuck) is a hard act to follow. Thanks again Chuck.

I absolutely love the 'Pay it Forward' idea...great movie BTW, but cannot think of a thing--Prowler related--I could pass forward! Dusti is a class-act, stand-up dude!

The people on this site are simply second to none....which Dusti re-affirmed to me after that 80's post and me receiving a personalized 80's CD.....the tops!

That is a great idea but it has been going on for over 4 years already. When I got to Woodward, my dad, the perpetual birthday boy, Guiness record book holder as the oldest living Prowler owner, (Dave Mills) pulled in and gave me a coke bottle from the Dan R Mills bottling works in Winober, PA. He knew I collected some Coke bottles so he brought me one. This thing is very old. You could probably drive nails with it, it is so thick. Pretty cool.
The next day, Phil Genet, InPhil, told me to not leave without him giving me something he had in his trailer. I won't tell what it is at this point. I do not know if the others involved in it want to get inundated with requests for this item. That is Rickstr, his dad Mel and mom Jane from St. Louis. We talked about this item/idea in Toronto and low and behold Phil had some of the supplies needed and Jane took care of the rest.
Thanks a ton to Rickster, Mel, Jane and Phil and also to Dave Mills. Brenda Mills gave Sandy one of the shirts that have the top 10 questions on the back and a Prowler on the front. Sandy loves it. Thanks Brenda.
To Pay it forward, I simply gave EVERYONE a hard time. lol.
When we went to the CAAP plant closing in Feb. 2002, I forgot my medications. Since I am diabetic it is kind of important to take it. Sue Mayes let me use her phone to call my Dr. and he called in a prescription to a local pharmacy and Marcia Scholten picked it up for me. The list is endless. None of them probably thought they were doing anything special, just like Chuck T. They just do it since they are the typical Prowler folks. Really nice people.
The other thread says we are all old, white and rich. Two out of three ain't bad. I'm old, white, bald and fat and happy as he.ll to be part of this group.
Mikee, I am not trying to downplay your idea. It is a great idea but it has been working around here since DAY 1.
How much help have Bob and CJ given to hundreds of us?
How about the Krehels funding and starting this site!
Priceless.
Too many other people to name or this thread will surpass the POA's longest thread. We have good friends in almost every state now.
Thanks again and Happy Birthday, Dave.

Ed's right (OMG - did I say that???? - LOL) it's been going on for a long time now - these people are the best. Larry Sigler sent a Top 10 Prowler shirt with Chris (CNote) to the Texas event for Ken - it was great! Larry if I forgot to thank you - thanks so much! He loves it and wears it all of the time. Chris and Christy, Bob and Martha Mart, GPS John, Bob and CJ, everyone that we have met are great and go out of their way to help you all of the time! Thanks for letting us be a part of such a great group!! Tami and Ken

I'd like to add my thanks here to Dale Beaman (blubyu). A while back I mentioned that I would like to find a copy of a window sticker for a 2001 Silver. Dale said he had one and would send me a copy. The other day when the mail came there was a pkg from Dale. When I opened it there was a laminated copy enclosed. Dale wouldn't take any money. I know it cost him several bucks to laminate and pay shipping. What great people here! Thanks again Dale. Somewhere down the road I'll repay by doing something for someone else.
