Thanks for the vote of confidence AC, but it ain't over till it's over. Laddie still has the fatest current blown Cat and I bet he has some tricks up his sleeve. I haven't drag raced since the 80's so he has lots of experience practice on me. |

Added ProwlerGTS to list. And, we'll see yall tonight. http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/000441.html Here's the latest posted by George in the event section. . "Talk about golden weather to boost the numbers at the track: Friday - partly cloudy, high-72, low-57, 10% chance of precip. Saturday - partly cloudy, high-73, low-58, 10% chance of precip. PLUS - The trophies turned out great. PLUS - Had a long conversation with Bobby Thomas of the IROC fabrication shop tonight and man is he knowledgable and enthusiastic about their shop and racing. He made it clear they have a big background with Dodge and have Dodge race cars present including a restored Dodge Daytona from 91 and an Avenger from 95. He can explain the carbon fiber brake rotors they've developed and many new safety design features they've implemented, and are still developing under controlled environment procedures for OEM advancements, and their facility is 20,000 sq ft. I've been at the speedway for 15 years and hadn't gotten to go to the IROC shop, so this is a great opportunity to see what's behind what you see going 'round on TV. And don't forget, Saturday's Green Flag Driving Experience was surprisingly extended last Saturday to for the first time ever include the chance to drive an open wheeled modified at our event. If that doesn't bristle the hair on you knuckles nothing will." See you Friday, or better yet, Friday and Saturday... two tracks and two shops in 24 hours and you still have Sunday off! |
