Almost EVERYONE does! Borla, SSS, Purple Hornie Glasspacks; or just remove the baffles (a cheap way to go) like me! Ty-K |

2K kitty - are you the same person as djoslyn the retired one,,,,or the rocket scientist? Brothers? I have the Mopar Borla and really like the sound. Many out there to play with,,,,depends on what sound you like. |

Y2KCat, I've got the SSS muffler from Jay Harris (Shimmers) and I'm absolutely satisfied ! In order to find the sound of YOUR liking just attend one of the POA events and listen to the different choices and go from there ! Good luck and welcome to the POA !! ------------------ |

2000kat.. had a borla on kat #2, and a mopar aftermarket on kat #3 ....loved em both from a sound (not really much diff from one another) and (small) horsepower increase.... the older borla (unless they still use the same glass pack thingy for tips) was a little bulkier looking (and got more comments)....while the mopar is sleeker, and all chrome, instead of those clear tips on the borla... I recommend them both.....both were the best addition I did to either car.... |

The biggest advantage Borla cat backs have over anyone else is being able to dump my rusty OEM pipes. Borlas don't rust and you gotta love a million mile guarantee. I liked the sound of Jay's SSS muffler but needed those old pipes outta there....Borla solved that for me. |

warmncool, a friend of mine made a 'stencil' for me - I taped them to the tips, masked up all the area around it and then applied high temp. paint to the exposed area. Just PM or email me if you have any questions ! |

I'm cheap so, went out bough a pair of Cherry Bomb glass pack, took them to muffler shop have them installed, total cost about $150.00 and sold my mufflers for $200 on e-Bay to cover my cost. |

Sam, I'm with you on the cheap thing. I did short glass packs and the h-pipe for about the same and am satisfied with the sound. |

I have straight pipes and the original tips on the 99 and I like it. You have to decide for yourself since everyone likes their own. |
