In the past 4 weeks I got mail from 6 new Prowler Owner out of Germany,NL,Belgien and Austria. They all imported Prowlers out of the USA and needed Information about Regestration in Europe. I could help most of the new Owners with Information about German Registration and Technical Data Infos. ( If a Prowler gets registration in one Europe state (only for your/one Prowler, not any/all Prowlers), usually the Car has to get Regestration in a other EU State too. It sound easy, but belive us, its very complicated and expensive. Anyway, the Dollar is low against the German Mark/sorry EURO, and more US Exotics, Hot Rods ,Muscle Cars, Classics and Customs will be imported to Europe. ( like , a Chevy SSR cost new Euro 33000.- in the US, sale price in Germany is Euro 60000.- ..+) Goodguys Member Germany /Rhein-Main Cruisers US-Car Club offer a PROWLER INFO CD in German Language with a lot of helpful Information about the Prowler. They collected Prowler Information of all sorces they could find. Euro 10.- incl. freight in Europe. > +/- $ 10.- USA Info Mail adress . r m c @ g s r a . d e This message has been edited by condor on 07-25-2004 at 04:08 PM |

Condor, Get all these owners together so that next year we can have a European event going.....that would be really cool. I know registration is tough from speaking to Gery in Austria. Very best of luck to everyone! ------------------ |

Hi Matthias! Thanks again for your help with the registration. The problem in Europe is that we are a great European Union, but each state has his own technical regulations. I can highly recommend your Prowler Info CD! Gery BTW: Your new flames look great! Are your other mods finished? |

Hello, Gery I put this week a org.US Police Strobe System in the headlights (4 bulbs) and the taillights (2 bulbs), and a org. US Police Siren Kit with Yelp, Wail and Air Horn. I can use Strobe and Siren from a distance with opt. remote controle. The siren is very loud, makes lots of fun at Car Shows. ( US-Agencies Cars equipment ) : www.rimindustries.com I used set nr: 216600 Able2 Hide-a Flash Strobe Kit, $189.95 and nr. RIM-2109C Siren Kit wail Yelp Air Horn, $ 179.95. and a two channel universal 12V remote controle. Next changes will be something on the rear (maybe BRIZ Aul Bumpers or a rearpan , and I try to test a softer Front Shox Set Up in my Vacation. ........... Greetings , Matthias |

Hey, Dustin , you know about our hard laws. The German Tüv would go crazy if he check all my illegal toys at the Prowler. But most things are monted underfloor/dash or work only with remote controle. Anyway, I red an article in a car magazine, that you get in the USA more and more Laws like we have them here. ( emmission contole, car saefty, ... ) Greetings, " condor" |
